I went to see Gagaloo when she was in Portland Oregon and it still gives me chills just thinking about it. The lights, the story, the songs, my fellow Monsters raising their 'paws' up to 'The Fame'. And also just the atmosphere, everybody there all loved and ached to see our Mother Monster on stage to prove to ourselves that She was real. That our one true idol and mentor; Lady Gaga, was real. That she breathed and walked and talked, just like all of us misfits and outcasts.

She spoke to us of her childhood, making me think back. To technically only a few minutes ago when I was just the same girl, with the glasses and the imperfect body and the big nose. A social outcast who just wanted acceptance, somebody to understand. Lady Gaga has done that for me, Stefani has understood, even though she speaks of her own troubles, I have connected with her..

So you see, Monster Ball wasn't just a concert for me. It was mental and even a little bit of physical therapy. If you haven't already gone, I highly recommend it.
