╚══════════════╝ Drake grew up in a normal family. He has a mom, a dad, and a younger sister named Barbara. "Family of four to Disney World" is what his dad would always describe them as. Ever since he was young, Drake was always an adventurous kid with a smirk glued to his face. His parents were authoritative and kind. Barbara adored him. There was nothing dark about his family at all, but that was just it -- his family was fairly pristine with a few exceptions.
Firstly, Barbara was diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of four. She was bullied by schoolmates for being strange. Once, Drake beat up two boys in their development for picking on her and earned a week's suspension. Drake got a reputation as a "thug" after that, despite the fact he didn't get into fights, however, he did use that to his advantage. When he saw scum, he'd play it rough, but otherwise he was just nonchalant about everything.
Secondly, Drake acts like a bad kid, the type that's a "rebel without a cause". He's a smart, perceptive kid who ignores homework. Without that stuff, he'd be acing his classes and be on honor roll, but rewards never appealed to him. Drake just liked doing what he felt like. His parents love him very much, but they don't see his lack of work as laziness, they, too, see it as a choice.
Lastly, Drake is slightly wealthy, but he has an affinity for pickpocketing, a kleptomaniac if you will. He'll never forget reading The Thief Lord. He loved the idea of stealing, it was a thrill that money couldn't buy, or rather it could, since he'd have to take some to get it. Despite all the good he has, Drake seems like a brat, but he can't help it. Life's not fun if everything's perfect.❝text❞
