Guide to Incorporating Feng Shui into your Animal Crossing Home

Incorporating Feng Shui into your home will help to increase your luck in Animal Crossing: Wild World -- literally!

Having a lucky home will help you to catch rarer fish, plant and grow money trees more successfully, increase your HRA rating and more!

You can incorporate Feng Shui into your home by following the simple color grid below.

The following is a representation of the main floor in your Animal Crossing home.

Original layout:
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

After first expansion:
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

After second expansion:
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Each color refers to the type of furniture that will count for Feng Shui in that grid section. The grid sections that contain multiple colors (green and yellow, or green and red) work for either of those two colors.

Place red furniture on the right side of your home, yellow furniture on the left and green in the front.

Awesome guide. whee

Also, I have a question. You know how you can get a bunch of different rooms, right? Well, I haven't gotten there yet, and I wanna know; is the Feng Shui the same in all the rooms, or what?

I also know that the second story has a different floor space; so is it basically the same thing except divided among the floor squares? If anything I just said made sense?

The four additional rooms that are added to your house have Feng Shui as well. The three on the main floor and the one on the second floor all use the 6 x 6 grid.

The thrid story, the save room, has no Feng Shui.

I have just 1 question. Well..maybe more.

1) What do the white spots mean? Any color??

2) Shouldn't these be flipped? I mean, you can't REALLY put anything infront of the door..

Awesome. Thanks for such a great guide! It's much clearer than anything I've read before. Can I just add that if you want to find your furniture, just press Ctrl + F to search. Type in the name and it will be highlighted (This is in Firefox anyways)

I thought that Orange was incorperated into the north.
Or was that just for the original Gamecube version?
