i think it was f(x) who use to be referred to as the girl shinee
adding a girl would just ruin the image of the group and it'd be awkward to me somehow

That would be weird. It is a boy group right? But with Taemin's looks, he could be mistaken for a girl kekeke.

I agree. Its bad for them because they just wouldn't be SHINee with a girl in the group and bad for her because a lot of fangirls would be after her wanting to kill her. Including me.

If a girl would be added to SHINee.. I would feel sorry for the girl.. 3nodding 3nodding
because she will have A LOT LOT LOT of antis and she would probably receive a lot of hate mails and threat messages. confused
not to mention she will always be compared to Taeminnie in terms of physical appearance.. and of course Taemin would still be way prettier! heart heart heart

Only the Strongest Will Survive...
The fans would obviously have a negative reaction to this. The point of SHINee, afterall, is to allow girls to dream about...well, dreamy guys. Having a girl in the group that would automatically know more about them than any other girl would elicit a lot of negative comments from female shoawls.
HOWEVER!
I think it's an awesome idea for an album or mini-album project for them to team up with a female performer or other female group. There's a lot of potential for girls versus boys songs there (who's better at what, each side's take on a breakup, etc.)
Let's face it - that would be a hot album especially if they found a girl/girls with well-matched sound qualities.
But again...hell hath no furry, and the fans would be livid if this were a permanent change.
