I heard some people were bored, and well, so am I. So, I've been planning to do this for quite some time, and finally I am inspired to actually bother with it. Everyone is welcome to er... drop in, even if Eris has never met you. The Chaos realm is not always picky about who it sucks in. Introduction:
The realm of Chaos is a vast, corrupt world that exists both independently of our own universe and yet is inexorably intertwined with it; the realm of Chaos cannot exist without the rest of the Universe and perhaps the Universe cannot exist without the realm of Chaos.
There are many ways into the realm of chaos, though they are difficult to come by. How you got there is up to you. Perhaps you created a rift in space or summoned a magic doorway? Maybe you were just unlucky enough to get sucked into a random portal against your will. Whatever the case, you are here now.
If you are lucky enough not to be sucked into one of the fields of negative energy upon arrival, you will find yourself standing on a sandy plain. The ground is not stable, and you will soon find the earth bucking beneath your feet.
If you run, you might avoid being crushed by the tumbling earth and make your way to the one stable thing in your sight. In front of you there will be a stone grey pillar, solid and still amidst the twisting sand. Upon reaching it, the sand clears away and you will be left standing on ruddy granite floor which looks centuries old. Looking down, you see a bright violet insignia glowing eerily on the pillar's ancient surface. A circle with eight omnidirectional arrows pointing outwards; the symbol of Chaos.
Now, what will you do?
Okay so, here is what you may do here:
1) Talk to Eris. If you want to speak to her, call her name at the pillar and she will appear.
2) Fight her. This may happen if you tick her off, even if that's not what you came for. Dice battle or rp battle is fine with me.
3)Use this place as a dungeon. I'll send monsters and obstacles in your way. Be careful though, this isn't like the training dimension and you can die here. Keep your eye out for exits.
4) Look for stuff Chaos sucks all sorts of random junk into it. Maybe that's where your car keys went?

Areas I'll add more detail later.
The Desert Sea: An unstable desert which moves around the land mass. Its slow, and there are places it doesn't go, but be careful not to get caught in it or you'll be tumbled about till you are nothing but sand yourself.
The junkyard:
Eris' collection of ruined things she's gathered through the ages. Hey, is that a Cessna over there? Sometimes things she doesn't intend wind up there too...
Ruined City: A collection of ruined buildings. You might see anything from a crumbling Mayan temple to the skeletal steel structures of a bombarded modern city. Her trophies of war and chaos.
Stone Towers ???
Chaos Home ???
The viewing room
Monsters Eris likes to keep a few monsters running around for fun.
Constellation Monsters: Eris' prized pets. Dark Spectral beings representing various constellations. They only solidify when in combat and are different from the other monsters in that they cannot be killed, though they can be badly injured and forced to retreat. These creatures report directly to Eris, if you are moving in secret, don't let them spot you.
I'll list more as needed....

A word from Eris
Welcome mortals, to my humble home. The vast expanse of twisted space you see before you is my domain. I will not deceive you (right now), it is not entirely under my control. There are places which keep a certain constancy, but even the ground beneath you is not to be trusted. This place changes at a whim, and it is not always mine. However, that is how I like it. Here only one thing truly reigns, and that is Chaos.
If you are one who is in my favor, announce your presence at the stone pillar when you enter here. I will appear before you and you may speak to me and request aide if you need it. Who knows? I might be in the mood to offer you assistance or strike a bargain...
To my enemies, you too are welcome here. You are quite welcome to be ground to tiny bits by a shifting chasm or devoured by a ferocious monster. If you do not announce you presence, I may not be aware of you right away. The realm of chaos is vast and I do have other things to do, you know. However, Do not think that means you are safe...A couple few notes:
There may be one or two other deities hanging around. Some of them might help you, others might not.
Chaos is mine. I reserve the right to make the realm of Chaos do weird stuff. Kekeke...
I'll check back regularly, but I can't always reply right away. Be patient or bring a friend =)

The earth swelled like a wave, a chasm opening up in the shifting sands, ready to swallow whatever foolish mortal would tread near it-
And said foolish mortal simply stepped to the side, shaken but amused. "You still have a flair for the dramatic, I see."
It had been over a millennium since this traveler had crossed these sands (as a disciple of Chaos), and the last time it had been to do the goddess a favor. Now he intended to collect that debt.
"Eris! A word with you, if I may."

The earth ceased its movements, but the sands suddenly swirled wildly around the sorcerer. Beneath his feet a grey stone floor was revealed.
"Well, well, well," echoed Eris' voice above the sandstorm. "We have a guest."
The goddess's smoky silhouette came into view, her yellow eyes glowing sharply against her shadowy form. She folded her arms across her chest and smiled wryly as she fully materialised before him.
"To what do I owe the honor of the Lord of Bainbridge's presence in my humble abode?"
She gestured lightly with one hand and the sands stilled revealing the barren landscape. Then, focusing her eyes on him again, she waited for his reply. Eris had an idea of why he was here, but was curious as to the specifics.

"Must I have a reason to visit an old ally?" One silvered eyebrow arched as he returned her wry smile. He bowed low, keeping his eyes locked on hers. "You are as lovely and wild as the last time I saw you."

"Always the flatterer, but you speak truth nonetheless," Eris said and laughed, tossing her head slightly. "Still, you haven't visited in ages, you never call, you never write....I was starting to feel hurt by your negligence."
Eris paused, and pursed her lips into a pout, mimicking a wounded expression. It wasn't very convincing.
"Is it any wonder that I might question your sudden appearance, then? Hmm?"

"Being imprisoned between life and death does put a damper on one's social calender, I've found. Believe me, dear lady, had I the power I would have visited. It's only been a few years since I have been made mortal again, and I've been rather busy." Getting married and starting out on the road to fatherhood, actually. "I'm surprised you hadn't heard."

"Oh SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!" A gleaming white figure fell from a portal that had opened above the desert. As it plummeted the man yelled all the way down. The loud cry ended with a sudden wumph as he struck the sandy ground. A plume of sand was sent skyward upon impact.
The man groaned as he sat up and clambered to his feet. He frowned at the fact that the ground was rapidly loosing any semblance of stability not that sand had much to begin with. He jumped from the ground and remained floating in the air, slapping his face lightly when he realized he could have avoided the whole falling thing.
With a sigh and a shake of his head the gleaming white clad being began brushing all the sand off his outfit. He looked around his eyes hidden by his mask(s) and with a shrug he conjured up a platform of ice to stand on. The floating frozen water platform hovered in midair and began drifting over the shifting sands. "I really shouldn't have added a randomizer to that portal." he muttered to himself as he decided to explore this new realm.

((Brian, Since I'm not much of a multitasker, for now, you aren't very near where Eris and Hrothbert are. Though, around here that can change very quickly. If you want to head towards them, I'll give you the option to do so later.))
Above the newcomer, the dark sky churned with black streaks of energy and strange violet flashes of light.
Before him lay nothing but the rolling desert, rising now and again to toss the sand upwards on its perpetual journey across the land. If one looked closely, some indistinguishable figures could be seen scurrying across the sand, oddly comfortable with its movements.
If he were to turn around, he would see two distinct shapes on the horizon. In one direction there would be a range mountains. The other, closer but more difficult to see, was what appeared to be a city, though it was impossible to determine anything else about.
The sandy earth beneath his feet groaned as if under some great strain. ...................................................................................
"Oh, I've heard a little about it," Eris said with a shrug. "Your peers didn't have a sense of humor (though I can't remember about what) and had you locked away or something."
Eris looked away briefly, her thoughts interrupted by slight flux in energy. Chaos was busy today. No matter, her "beauties" would welcome any possible guests. She focused her eyes back on Hrothbert.
"As to more recent events, I'd have to be blinder than Themis not to notice your presence around a certain she-elf."

"My peers have never had a sense of humor, especially about senseless murder and black magic." He spun his wedding ring, the gold reflecting the gleam of the sands. "Emma has been one of yours in her time." His eyes darted away for a moment at the same time, sensing the shift in Chaos. "You're popular today."

((That's quite alright))
Brian began whistling a jaunty tune as he floated there on his platform of ice. He was completely unworried about the dark sky and its oddities. He's been in far more hostile locations before. He glanced at the figures in the distance scurrying across the sand and with a shrug he began floating towards them.

As Brian grew closer, the black figures could be seen more clearly. The gleaming exoskeletons of black scorpions the size dogs appeared briefly, then disappeared as they dove into the sand. The rolling movement of the desert seemed not to bother them in the least. One of them halted briefly and stared at Brian, snapping its claws and hissing threateningly.
........................................................................................................................
"Oh, its nothing," Eris said, waving one hand dismissively. "Whoever or whatever it is won't last long. Its not really worth bothering about."
Eris stared intently at the sorcerer. She hadn't forgotten Emma's past either. Though, in her opinion, they had both gotten terrible soft over time.
"Has been,"Eris said, narrowing her eyes at Hrothbert. "But is no longer, and neither are you, unless I am mistaken."
With a sigh, Eris took a step or two backwards and seated herself on a stone chair that only a moment before hadn't been there. Such was her power in chaos, to summon a thing at will.
"Which brings me back to wondering why you're here." Eris said, idly brushing sand off the arm of the chair. "You want something. Unless you are considering reverting back to your old ways?"

The wry smile faded from the sorcerer's features, and a steely glint came into his eyes. "I have considered it, but Emma would be none too pleased if I slipped back into my old ways. I believe you still owe me a favor. I've come to collect it."
She could destroy him in an instant if she chose to do so, but that did not seem to affect his demeanor.
"I want your protection for my daughter."
