Gunju fond himself bored. He had looked at wall pictures too long, and his eyes were starting to hurt. He moved away from the little secret passage way that was shown to him. Hoping to run into his new friend. Though, he knew that she wasn't going to be there. It made him kinda sad, but he couldn't expect to see her every day. She was his only friend. Though, that didn't say much. He didn't really try to go out and make them. She just kinda found him, and they got along.
He moved slowly out of the temple that he grown to love as he went along. He knew nothing else but that and the lands in which he lived. He stopped and blinked his eyes a bit. The sun was bright upon his unfocused eyes. Being in a dark area for a while and entering back out side made it hard to see things. He rubbed at his face with his paw as he stood there.

kayo had grown quite fond of his new home even if it was far from his parents and siblings. he had been getting to know those in the pride but had yet to really make any real friends that he could go to if needed. making his way over to the temple, he had wanted to take a look around more until he noticed a young male coming from there. " hey there" he was rather awkward with cubs since really he didn't know how to talk to them.

Gunju froze with his paw still upon his face when someone spoke. Had he been noticed? Perhaps if he held still he could look like part of the temple itself? No, if he was spotted, he was stuck talking to who ever it was. Though, the other did sound like they were older then him. He peeked out behind his paw, but didn't dare to move much more then that, in case it wasn't him who was being talked to. He liked being unnoticed, at least by adults.
Nope, the male was looking right at him. A small grown came out of his mouth as he finally moved his paw from his face to the ground. His eyes still hurt a bit from the light, but that was soon to go away as his eyes adjusted to the sunny light. The male was a couple different shades of brown, Gunju noticed, almost a shade like himself. Though he was sure they weren't related in any way possible. He raised a brow and didn't say anything quite yet. He never noticed this male before. Though, he seemed pretty harmless. "Hello" He finally said, bored tone to it.

kayo tilted his head a moment as he watched the young male. it seemed to him that he was ether having his eye adjusting to the light or he was acting as if he wasn't there which was very silly. "whats your name? my name is Kayo." sitting down, he had a small smile on his face. " you know this area pretty well right?"

Gunju never imagined a adult would be asking him any of this stuff. It seemed rather silly. He was a cub after all. He raised a brow. "I'm Gunju" Not that it mattered if the male knew his name or not. He'd figure it out now that he was in the pride. "And, I guess I do" He never really thought about not knowing where things where. "Why?" He asked sharply. Eying the male suspiciously.

" just thinking maybe you can show me all the good spots around here. after all i'am new around here." Kayo figured Gunju had to know some good spots to relax since he figured cubs explored everything. " and its nice to meet you." he hoped the cub didn't think he was weird or anything, it just he didn't know how to act around cubs.

Gunju raised a brow at him again. Why would he want a cub to show him around? Wouldn't he want someone more.... his age? He gave a shrug at his own thoughts. Perhaps, it was best this way. Or maybe not. He wouldn't dare show him the spot that his friend showed him. No, that was secret. But everywhere else, he supposed he could show him. "It might look a little funny being followed by an adult, but I guess I can show you around." It sounded almost funny rolling off his tongue, those words.
He wasn't sure what to totally thing about this male. He almost seemed too cheery to be an adult. Maybe he was really a over sized cub? Which, made Gunju think if it was even possible for that to happen. He shook his head, and then realized his actions. "Um...... I don't know where to start" he said.

Kayo gave a laugh. "well i guess it will just have to look a little funny. can't help i need a little guide to show me the better spots that i wasn't already shown." he really was just a big goof most the time and when he tried to be all serious it just didn't work for him. some might really see him as a over sized cub, but he actually could be serious when the time was right. " hmmm how about somewhere close for now?"

He shrugged. If that's what he wanted, then who was Gunju to really judge him. Even though guiding this male meant that he needed to move, he decided that all movement wasn't bad. Though, he would much rather prefer to sit some where. "I can show you the temples." he said. Not sure if the male had seem them yet. Well, seen the inside of them. Of course, is eyes were now adjusted to the bright light, and would be hard to see going back in side the temple, but that didn't cross his mind just yet.

"sounds good to me." Kayo was not one to care what others though just because he happened to ask the cub to show him around or explore with him. following Gunju, he was slow at first so that his eyes could adjust to the darkness of the inside of the temple. even if he had seen the area before, he did not care since he loved seeing the temples of the pride.

Gunju found himself in a little bit of a bind now. Having agreed to this male, he wasn't sure how much he had to show him before he was satisfied. What if he came back later and asked for more guidance around the place? He'd just have to avoid him for a while after this, he supposed. He gave himself a shrug and entered the temple he had just come out of. Everything was dark, and hard to see. Stopping for a moment to let his eyes adjust to the change of light yet again. He was sure that he'd end up with a headache by the end of this.
He signed, like any small child would having to do anything for an adult. Though, he didn't think it was too bad. If other's saw him with an adult, he'd instantly be cool. He wasn't totally sure if that was a good thing or not. He lashed his tail. "Well, this is the opening to the biggest temple here." He said at least he thought it was the biggest, he heard adults say it was. So it had to be true. "This are like.... what did the call them... Halls I think.." He said as he started to move down the narrow passage way. It wasn't too small, big enough for a few lions to move easily around in.
He looked at the wall, seeing all the pictures that were long ago put there. Still most of them very easy to see and understand. Though, he had his own stories that probably weren't true at all. But they kept him amused. "Those are what were left behind when who ever built this temple." He said as he pointed with his paw, then continued to move.

kayo was not one to bug so more than likely after this short tour he would leave Gunju to do whatever he please. and if Gunju made it clear he wanted to be left alone, he would go off on his own. when his eyes finally adjusted, he took a look around the temple. "wow this place is pretty amazing." the temples always amazed him since his old home had none. " i bet you have some fun wandering the temple." tail flicking this way and that, he tried not to annoy Gunju.

Gunju didn't find it too amazing. Then again he already knew it was there, and had seen it since his father brought him and two of his siblings here. Then, it seemed amazing, now it seemed normal. "Yeah, It can be pretty fun." He said thinking of his friend again. Oh things were great when he thought up stories, but no matter. "There's many rooms, and things to look at." He added as he continued on the way. Turning corners and going threw each room that he could think of.
He wasn't one for much talking. He just pointed at things as he went, said one or two words and the moved on. Perhaps he'd be a good guide, but then again, that meant dealing with a ton of others, and moving around a lot. He wasn't the skinniest little guy out there. He was something of a chubby cub. He was already getting winded by walking around as much as he was, but he tried to hide that fact. As he got to the back of the temple, which wasn't as fast as he wished it was he turned to the male. "Well. that's the temple." One of them, anyways. The one he enjoyed the most.

Kayo had no problems keeping up with Gunju. looking around as they wandered the temple, he wondered how easy it would be to get lost. once in a while he would make a comment when Gunju would talk. he was so wrapped up in the temple he never noticed Gunju was sort of winded by the end. " Thanks to leading me around this temple Gunju. hopefully i wasn't to much of a pain. being new to the pride can be hard."

"There are a couple places we aren't allowed to go, but I'm not exactly sure where they are." Some type of holy temple that he was told never to enter. For it was for the gods and priests or something. He didn't pay attention that day in teachings. He shrugged at the other as he thanked him. All Gunju wanted to do was sit down, but he continued to stand and looking up at the male. "I wouldn't know" He said with a shrug. He had known nothing else but this pride. He didn't know there where other's out there.
