Most lions didn't like being in the water often, but Iara was definitely not one of them. Even at times like these when the waves were crashing against the shore the lioness could be found swimming in them. Blending in with the clear blue of the waves Iara started to weave her way through the waters and towards shore.
Dragging herself onto the warm sticky sand the lioness let out a laugh of pure joy. What a rush! The waves nearly got her this time! But once again she had made it. Stretching out to were the water lapped at her paws, Iara closed her eyes and started to drift off into a light sleep. Even though the waves still called out to her, it was time for a nap.
