Then explain why both Yukari and Ran are blondes and have golden eyes, yet Chen has brown hair and brown eyes. Recessive genes, my a**.

I always thought that Kanako and Iku were in some ways related due to having nearly the same hairstyle. (I don't passionately support this, I just found it amusing)

I think i have the Ran/Yukari one figured out.
First since they are both blondes, you would think Chen would have Blond too right? WRONG!
My theory is that because of how much color both of them had, Chen's hair went from Super Sayian blond to Brown.
Or in random term, Her hair resembles Toast that was made when Bread (Ran) was exposed to Heat (Yukari being the light heat).

My aunt did adopt a child herself a few months ago from Russia. He is cute and will grow taller than me sad .
