In a far off world there is a place where humans and creatures live side by side. The humans tend to be a little hard to get along with, often causing problems with the creatures, but most of the time the world is at peace. The humans often create villages or towns that do not allow any non-humans in them. But lately there has been more attacks. Humans and creatures alike are being attacked almost on a daily basis by their own kind. Time are growing hard, but a small band of heros (rp characters) have found a common enemy to bring them together...

JADE

Jade emerged from the trees, only to be hit in the face with fresh salt air. "Well, that's a nice surprise..." She trotted down to the water, stretching her wings as soon as she had room. She continued down the sand, following the tree line, keeping her eyes open. If they were going to attack her, she had two escape options. She dipped her green toes in the salt water, the decided to try and avoid that if possible. It was far too cold for her taste. And wet. She looked up in surprise when an Osprey landed in front of her. It let out a shriek, then began growing in size and changing in color.

LILY

Lily landed in front of the emerald dragon and let out a shriek before transforming into her human form. She shook her head, then grinned at the dragon. "You can talk, right? Good! I'm glad! Finally someone to talk to!"

JADE
Jade looked surprised at the human. "Well... yes I can talk... who are you?"

LILY
"Name's Lily, shapeshifter extraordinaire! I'm on the run. Getting attacked by humans of course! My own kind! Well... sort of..."

JADE
Jade was surprised to hear this. "I'm Jade, and I know how you feel. I was attacked by other dragons,"

LILY
"No offense, but I'm glad I'm not the only one." She perked her ears and looked around. "Well, Jade, I hope you like company, because we aren't alone either..."

The hair on the back of Lily's neck stood on end. "That doesn't sound good... let's go!" She pulled her bow off of her back, strung an arrow and ran towards the noise.


Jade nodded and ran alongside the shape shifter. "Let's hope it's not something too terrible," They burst into the trees to see a young boy running towards them and strange things following close behind.

Jade grabbed Lily by the back of her shirt and stopped by the young man, letting go of her new friend. She raised her wings and let out a warning growl at the ugly creatures.

Lily kneeled, taking aim at the ugly creatures. "What the heck are those things?!"

"Lovely..." She shot an arrow, which bounced off the hide. "Oh even better! Arrows have no affect!" She ducked back down. "Well that's it for my attacks,"


"What about flame?" Jade let a stream of flame hit one of the creatures. It shrieked in pain, but it didn't seem affected much. She looked to the humans/ "Great... shall we fly?"

Jade nodded, grabbed him and took to the skies.



Lily slung her bow across her back, shifted into her osprey form and took off after her new friends. 'Let's avoid creatures like that in the future, shall we kiddies?' She mindspoke to them.

After flying to what felt like a safe distance, Jade landed by a lake. "We should be far away enough now,"

Lily shifted to her wolf form to listen to her surroundings. There was nothing out of the ordinary, so shifted back to her human form. "Okay, creatures to avoid list, number one: Shriekers..."

Jade smiled and offered one of her fingers- since shaking his hand with her paw was near impossible. "I'm Jade Silverclaws, it's nice to meet you."


Lily stepped up next, shaking his hand. "Lillian's the name, shape shifting's my game. Nice shooting by the way,"

"So... what? Are you another run away or something? And you don't seemed freaked out by the whole shape shifting thing or the dragon." She pointed at Jade with her thumb. "Of course, this is the strangest dragon I've ever met. Well... heard of. I've never actually met a dragon. I thought they were supposed to be vicious and bloodthirsty or something like that..."


Jade rolled her eyes. "A common misconception. We can actually be quite nice. It's when things begin taking over our territory." She looked back to Cody. "Please excuse Lily, she seems to speak without thinking often,"

"Hey! I resent that! Though it is partially true..." She shook her head and glared at the dragon. "Shut up you! I believe I did ask Cody a question..." She looked to him expectantly.

Lily smirked. "Oh really? Well you should know we're just as scary as those silly humans say we are."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Ignore her, she seems to not know when not to talk..." This earned the dragon a glare. "Anyways, you shouldn't be nervous around us. Or me at least. Unless you're worried about bad things chasing you, in which case you may want to avoid me."
