How long had she been traveling alone now? Breeze couldn't really remember. It seemed like forever yet it was probably only a couple of weeks. Not that she minded. Breeze had to admit it felt good to finally be away from her family for once. No siblings to worry about and no children to tend to. Traveling alone was very nice indeed. But to be alone wasn't the reason the mostly fuchsia vixen was exploring the world. She was trying to find a friend.
With always having so many family members to tend to, Breeze had never actually gotten the chance to make friends. Well she had no friends outside of her family anyway. So Breeze decided now that her children were having families of their own, it was time to get out and make herself some friends.
Breeze looked around the seemingly abandoned forest she was in. For some reason, it just felt like the right place. It had.. a nice breeze blowing. Surely other foxes would live in a place with a nice breeze. She hoped that if she kept searching long enough she'd find someone. And that someone would be friendly enough. Not super friendly; she'd heard stories about those kinds of foxes. Breeze shuddered at the thought.

Runaiu had left Mercury rather recently, having let the now grown fox go out and start his own life. She had watched over him for a short time, and now was alone. So very alone. Before it had not bothered her. Before she had traveled far and wide without problem. That was just her life. Then came Mercury, and she found herself realizing how friendless she actually was. It never hurt before, she had always been to ashamed of herself to ever want to meet others. Her vain persona was a facade, she pretended to be vain to protect herself. To protect herself so that others would not know of her insecurity and dig into it. She protected herself. It was a tactic someone like her would have to learn, to stop herself from breaking even further.
