Anikuru finds a pen and quickly fills out the forms. "Here," he said, handing Midori the forms.

Midori let out a low wistle of approval over Anikuru's fiery display.

"Well I'm impressed, the fact you've already master an elemental affinity will certainly help your training go along faster, especially since I'm pretty good with fire jutsu myself." She said as she held out a hand and demonstrated this by having a small stream of flame dance between her fingertips

"However no matter what your offensive capabilities might be you'll never be able to graduate the academy unless you can use the basic 3. Clone Jutsu, Replacement jutsu and Transformation jutsu." She said.

"If you can master all 3 then I'll also teach you the Body flicker jutsu. If you have those in combination with what you already know you shouldn't have much trouble passing the exam." She explained.

"First is the Transformation Technique. You use it to make yourself look like someone else, quite useful for infiltration missions. Preforming it requires a constant emission of chakra and the mental abilty to maintain the form you take, especially when you interact with objects. Here I'll show you how it's done and then you try." She offered.

Slowly so that he could see Midori preformed the handseals. Dog, bore and then Tiger, and then in a poof of smoke she became a picture perfect copy of Anikuru so close that even his own mother wouldn't be able to tell the two of them apart at a glance.

"Well..." She said imitating his voice. "Just image in your head what you want to become, preform the seals and you should be alright." She said as she reverted to herself in another poof of smoke.

Midori silently appraised Anikuru's transformation for a few long moments before passing judgment.

"Not bad for your first time." She complimented. "It's good enough to fool a civilian, however you need to work on reducing your chakra output. You're putting so much out that anyone chunnin level or higher could easily pick that up regardless if they are a sensor type or not." She explained.

"Ok next is the clone jutsu used to create illusioanry copies of yourself." Midori said as she showed him the seals and in a poof of smoke two more Midori's appeared standing at either side of her making it near impoosible to tell which one was the real deal and which was the fake.

"Here's a pop quiz for you. Tactically speaking, why is the clone jutsu so useful even for a jounin despite being so low level that most academy students can preform it?"

As the two clones vanished in a puff of smoke the third clone simply smirked at Anikuru. "Memorizing my position? Cute idea...." She said before suddenly she too reverted into smoke and disappeared.

That instant the real Midori appeared and poked the real Anikuru in the back with her right index finger which could have easily been a kunai instead before withdrawing it. The message was simple, his overconfidence could have gotten him killed if he had tried that in the heat of a real battle.

"But anyone with a modicrume amount of speed can easily use the moment that the clones are created to distract a foe and move to conceal themselves. " She explained, for a ninja of her level this was mere childsplay.

"You must not over rely on what you see on the surface. Your vision can be easily deceived and a ninja needs to know when and how to look underneath for the truth. Plus closing your then was a mistake, leaving you vulnerable to a ranged frontal attack." she lectured.

"However you're answer to the quiz was sound for the most part. Clones are an excellent distraction, but remember with out an element applied to them they are nothing but an illusion with out substance unable to directly affect the world around them. That illusion is only useful for so long as it is not shattered so they must be used with the utmost care when fainting an attack." with those words Midori moved back to the front of the classroom

"How are you as a ninja?" She said repeating his question. "You have exceptional strength for an academy student, but lack the experience to properly wield it. You have the potential to be great, provided you can live long enough to realize said potential." With those words she grinned, her preditory eyes seeming to glitter with glee.

"Luckily you have Me for your teacher and if you can survive my brand of training then you'll be able to survive almost anything. " she said not immodestly.

With a sigh she looked at the clock. "Today's lession is nearly over. For homework I want you to work on your subsitution jutus and have it mastered by the morning. But don't work too hard as you'll be sparring with me. Highly dangerous but highly rewarding. But before you go why don't you tell me of this plan of yours, It usually dosn't hurt to have a more experinced ninja help iron things out." She said.

"Strength is more then just physical. Remember that and don't be late for the next session if you truly want to be strong." Midori said with a sigh as she watched Anikuru go. Truly he was going to be a troublesome student

Midori walked into the class room precisely on time and was surprised to see a couple of bushin standing guard over the sleeping form of Anikuru.

Of course they where only illusions and not shadow clones so they couldn't really guard anything unless someone was inexperienced enough to fall for the bluff, which she certainly wasn't.

"Game on." Midori said as she threw a smoke bomb at Anikuru's feet knowing that the sound of it going off should be enough to wake him up. She wanted to see how he dealt with the disorientation of waking up in the middle of a gas cloud that obscured his vision. Would he be able to tell that the sparring match had already started?
