There are two ways to join the pride, depending on age.
Cubs and juveniles are adopted in, and then raised just as any other young one of the pride. They do need to be brought before a leader, however, so they can be formally welcomed into their new home.
Adults and adolescents are another story. To join, they must first bring the Kifuko a piece of valuable information regarding the world around them. It can be something as simple as the movement of a herd, or something as deep as a custom from another pride (need permission from the owners of that pride OOCly before you do that!).
For the 'Joining RP' for the cert, you need only grab an RP with a fellow pride member after getting the 'Yay' or 'Nay'! <3 This gives us a chance to do the IC joining at our own pace!

My Journey Leads Me Elsewhere...SoA Name: Saharan Image: Here. Personality Snippet: Serious and studious, she's not afraid to be curious, often nosing into places she doesn't belong. She's a strong female, and won't usually take crap from anyone, as well as having no trouble berating those who get underfoot while she's learning or studying something. She's got a feminine side that comes out now and then, but she usually says she doesn't have time for things like looking for a mate or cubs. At least, not yet. Reason for Leaving: Plots and love: She's out right now learning about her roots, and will fall in love with a male. Sadly, he will not want to come home with her. She'll return for a time, broken hearted, just in time to get mixed up in the metaplot. The final big storm will terrify her into leaving for good, chasing her back into the paws of her lover and his pride, far far away from the sea.

My Journey Leads Me Elsewhere... SoA Name: Tiifu'ini Image: [ Here] Personality Snippet: Tiifu is a wanderer at heart. She loves traveling and seeing new places more than anything, and over her journeys she's learned quite a bit about the world around her. She prays to Zururuka, the God of Wanderlust, first and foremost to keep her safe on her journeys. She is someone who is loyal to all her friends, to the point of even putting herself in danger to keep them safe. This has propelled her to learn her way around herbs to help keep her friends healthy. Reason for Leaving: With Sewelo MIA, sticking around the pride is just too painful for Tiifu. She needs to set out and find her place again. But you can certainly expect her to visit her daughters from time-to-time, and say hello to Kifuko Ekundayo!

I've got a Wanderer looking for a Home!SoA Name: Tumaini Image: no certAge: Adult (in human years maybe mid-late 20s) Desired Rank: Healer Personality Snippet: Since the whole issue with her family leaving their home pride for the safety of their cubs (and her choice to stay with the pride at the time) she's been quiet and keeping to herself. Normally she's just like any other lioness. Dutiful, motherly, friendly but not easily trusting, and most importantly loves her home and believes in their cause. She doesn't believe in it any less after leaving, mind you, but like most lionesses her age the idea of raising a family, and raising them in safety, has taken priority. Suggestions: Hm.. o_o? -----
Just a note, but I may have her mate follow after her. Not sure how long it'd take for him to actually find her, since when he gets back to the Mwako she'll already be gone. I kinda wanna give this girly a happy ending though, so I hope that's alright. |D;

Suggestions: He's from the meta-contest, finally found a JRP for him! He brings news of an old log bridge that has collapsed over a nearby river, making it very difficult to get across the fast moving water.
