 Hikaru looked down at his piece of paper and used the key that was given to him to open the door and walks inside leaving the door open and begans unpacking the few things he had brought with him.

 Marriam looked around for her dorm and came across an open dorm. She peeked in and saw a guy. "Um.. hello. I'm Mariam Lockheart... are you Hikaru?", she asked softly.

Hikaru glanced up and set his clothes on his bed he adjusted his cap slightly and flashed her a quick smile. "I am and you must be my new roomate, Its nice to meet you Mariam" He gestured to one of the other beds in the room. "I hope the rooms to your liking I did do a little redecorating."

Mariam smiled and nodded slightly. "Nice to meet you too", she said walking in and placing her stuff on the bed. "Nice place.."

Hikaru laughed lightly. "You seem like the quiet type." He grabbed his clothes off his bed and sets them in his dresser. "So your a human?"

Mariam smiled slightly. "Alot of people have told me that", she said as she sat down on the bed. "I'm human... nothing special.. what about you?"

Hikaru sat down on his bed and looked at her "Is hard coming to a new place and now knowing anyone." He shifted on the bed and took his hat off "I'm a elf.." He quickly put his hat back on.

Mariam looked at him. "Wow thats so cool", she said ans smiled softly. "I kinda know what you're thinking... that we humans are one of the worst races on earth", she paused and laughed slightly. "I couldn't agree with you more.."

Hikaru shook his head and laughed. "I can think of some other races that are worse. I try not to hold to much of a grudge towards humans though I guess thats kind of why I wanted to leave home see what the hype was all about." He layed back on his bed and stared at the canopy of his bed and began singing in a mysterious language the leaves and vines on it started to move and small colorful flowers began to bloom.

Mariam's eyes widened. She didn't even bother to get up on both her feet. Instead she crawled over to the canopy and watched the flowers. "Whoa.. this is so cool", she said staring at the flowers.

Hikaru held his hand up and a vine began twirling around it until he was holding a small bouquet of flowers that had a glow around them and he held them out to Mariam. "These are for you a welcome." He smiled and motioned with his other hand and the vines reatreated into the canopy. "The plus to these is you wont have to water them when I'm around." He stood up and stretched.

Mariam blushed slightly as she took the flowers. "Thank you", she said. She got up and went up to her bed. She placed the flowers on the bedside table.

"Your welcome." Hikaru reached under his bed and grabbed his knives and a cloth and began polishing them. "So what brings you here if I may ask?"
