There was nothing distinguishable in the dojo, it was small, and it was old. There was a black pad that was about twenty by twenty feet, and in front of that there was a large mirror. Thrown off to the side, a small strip without padding, several objects were thrown. A worn out smash pad or two, a cloth training dummy held up by a metal poll, and some weight balls. Amie walked into the center of the room, and glared at the mirror.
It was then he appeared. Glacialis. Her peaceful look lowered to a glare, as she stared into the mirror, as his lithe figure materialized behind her. The tiger smiled, and if he could in that form, she thought he might be laughing too. 'You want me to teach you Jujitsu?' He asked, obvious glee in his voice. Amie's fists clenched by her side. She hated this creature, with every bone in her body. Angrily, she turned so that he could taste the venom in her eyes.
"Respect my wishes. You have no choice but to do as I ask." The tiger's expression changed from amusement to distaste. 'I have not forgotten. It took a step back, and dissipated into blue smog. The dojo was filled with it, until before her stood a snow haired teen, eyes a piercing steel blue. He was clad in a black T shirt, and white shorts that led up to his knees. His arms had bandages from his hand to his elbow, as did his feet from his knees.
"I learned several martial arts in my day...and I shall pass on what I have learned to you. As if I had a choice though, hmm? We shall start at the begging....white belt."

❷ White Belt ✔㊐㊑㊒㊓㊔㊕㊖㊗㊘㊜㊝㊞㊟㊠㊡㊢ Glacialus, her spirit, plopped down in front of her. He waved his hand, as if shooing off a nuisance, and Amie rolled her eyes. First off, she would need to stretch and prepare. Amie loosened up with some basic stretches, reaching for her toes, opening a split as wide as she could, circular movements with her arms, and then, she ran around the outside of the dojo a few times. When she arrived back in the dojo, to finish up, she did some sit-ups, push-ups, and other simple beginner work outs. When she completed the monotonous tasks, she knelt before Glacialus, with an indifferent expression. She hated his guts, but he was her master.
"Let's begin with the basics now, hm? Stand up. " Glacialus showed her the form for the basic fighting stance. Left foot forward, hands up to defend the face. He demonstrated for her the proper way to deliver a basic punch and a kick, or as he called them, 'snap moves.' For a proper snap kick, bring your rear leg up, and hold you knee up to your hips. He referred to that as a 'flamingo stance.' Glacialus's rule was to always have control. What good was power if you couldn't channel it? Then the rest was simple, fire the kick, champer it to a flamingo stance once more to keep balance, then place the foot back into where it was before. When it came to a demonstration of a proper punch, the key to that was making sure to not just throw the arm like an amateur, but to use the momentum of your body as well. Bring the arm back, then to fully use the momentum of ones hips without becoming open, turn on the ball of your back leg. Amie was pleasantly surprised at how much extra, well, umph it added to her punch. She wasn't the strongest person around, but the extra weight form her body made a great bit of difference.
He then drilled her on some of the other, more obvious basics. Parrey's, rolls. Use a high parry to block against straight and hook punches. If it's their right arm, block with your right. A low parry was used to block snap kicks. The front roll was easy, it was like a tumble-sualt without using your head, you just made sure to roll onto your shoulder.
Finally, she mastered how to escape from strangles. Take a step back on your right foot, and hold out your hand. Maker sure to hold up your right hand, to prevent your opponent from headbutting you. Then, raise your left arm, and swing and punch through their arms to release the strangle. And from their? Amie's favorite part, and probably favorite move so far, elbow to the face, followed up by a back fist to the other side. There was also the duck method, but she found this way more amusing. She also learned one drop technique, and one pin, which Glacialus enjoyed when he got to perform, but regretted when he had to play the dummy.

❸ Red Belt ✔㊐㊑㊒㊓㊔㊕㊖㊗㊘㊜㊝㊞㊟㊠㊡㊢ "Congratulations, you've achieved white belt. Now, let us move on to your red belt." Amie bowed, and backed up, allowing her teacher to begin the next lesson. It took her only a few days to learn the basics, and even red belt was still pretty low.
There was only one punch to be learned in this section, and that was the reverse Twist punch. Glacialus came at her quick with a forward punch. Amie responded with a left forearm parry, bringing her right arm to her side at the same time. She took a step forward with her left foot, bent her knee, leaned in, and with all the energy from that motion, slammed her right fist into his plexus. She could hear the air escape from his lungs as he staggered back. He coughed, and angrily barked out a, 'Good job'
He then taught her a few more blocks. A leg block, especially useful for round house kicks. With her right foot forward, she awaited the kick. Glacialus threw a roundhouse, and Amie performed the move he had just demonstrated for her. she swung anti-clockwise on the balls of her right foot, and threw her right arm down. Her forearm absorbed the blast, and her pivit had helped her body dodge the kick. She shuttered at the thought of screwing up against her mentor, considering that a kick that powerful, if it landed, could brake her.
Next, Glacialus showed her how to brake fall. These were an ensemble of moves that took Amie some getting used to. she stared down at her sides as if she were standing on a diving board, looking down some 20ft into the water. She didn't like to intentionally fall. Glacialus saw this coming, and took the opportunity to push her rather roughly if she took to long in between falls. The key to a backfall was making sure you threw your arms out to the side, to catch yourself. And to hold to your chest, to thrust at an attacker that tried to take advantage of the down time. The key to a front break fall was to land on your forearms, and turn your head as to not land on your nose.
Amie's favorite move from the red bracket was the cross hock. It was her first take down. Glacialus practiced on her. She threw a punch to his face, and was totally unprepared for what he was about to do. He blocked with a basic forearm block, and took a foot forward and to the left with his left foot, so it was next to her right. [x] He then pushed at her left shoulder, which made her stagger off balance. His right foot swung like a pendulum up, and behind her right leg. It then sweeped down and pushed her right foot forward, knocking her off her own feet. Before she even knew what was happening, she was on the ground. Amie got up, laughed, and began to practice on him.
That was, what she thought to be her favorite move. Until he taught her a recumbent ankle throw. It took her a week to master it, but when she did, she was thrilled. Glacialus threw a hammerfist at her, and Amie blocked it with a head block. She placed her right foot behind Glacialus's right ankle, toes pointing at her. she then performed a side breakfall, and made sure to keep her right leg in place. That was always the hardest part of the maneuver for her, her leg would always jitter out of place.
She placed her left foot on just below his knee, pushed with it, then pulled with right. It sent Glacialus off balance and falling onto his back. Amie then pulled herself up, in a push up position, and smashed a right stamp kick to his groin. Amie bounced up, and re-entered a fighting stance. Glacialus rolled over, wincing, cradling his sack.
"Congratulations... your a red belt....That's enough for today." He half winced, half hissed.
