Wlcome to the DWMA! Better known as Death Weapon Meister Academy or better yet Shibusen! This is your Headmaster speaking! At this Academy there are two types of students. There are the Weapons and the Meisters. The two arent just paired together randomly, they have to be in sync with each other, they have to get along, respect each other and above all else they have to be able to resonate with each other, this is called Soul Resonance, one of the most powerful attacks a Weapon and Meister can create together but its not that easy to obtain.
Soul Resonance is a special technique used by Meisters and Weapons, in which, they synchronize their Souls wavelength. By doing so, they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle.
Soul Menace technique is a form of self resonance which is only known to be usable by those with a strong wavelength. By resonating with one's own soul the user can drive their own soul wavelength directly into an opponent's body through a physical strike on them. This can cause strong direct and internal damage, it is even capable of damaging someone who is being protected by black blood.
Soul Perception Ability is a technique used by humans. This unique ability allows a person to "perceive" the souls of living people. By focusing on an individual soul, a skilled Soul Perception practitioner can actually "read" a soul and make accurate judgments about the person's characteristics, personality and wavelength. Knowing the wavelength of a soul can allow a skilled meister to match or disrupt the opponent's wavelength in or outside of combat.
