A Mario and Sonic Video Game, That utilized there signiture playstyles. As in NO SPORT/PARTY/SMASH BROS. GAME. An action Adventure Crossover Game feturing Sonic and Mario Characters.
Will it Happen? Who Knows.
Should it Happen? Hell yes.
I was wondering what ideas you guys would come up with, for such a game. But please, NO IDEAS TAKEN FROM SUPER MARIO BROS. Z by Alvin Earthworm.

I'd buy it, but unless they make a really good story to go around it (something neither character really needs anyways), or excellent game play that allows you to switch characters on the fly, they wouldn't benefit from a shared game more than having two individual games. It'd just be a waste of processing power trying to fit two very different game play engines onto one disk.

dragn99 I'd buy it, but unless they make a really good story to go around it (something neither character really needs anyways), or excellent game play that allows you to switch characters on the fly, they wouldn't benefit from a shared game more than having two individual games. It'd just be a waste of processing power trying to fit two very different game play engines onto one disk. Also, they are both dicks.

We've seen them in a sports game, and a fighting game. It's time for a real Adventure with two of the forefathers of video games.

It'd be fun, but like I said, neither one of them really needs a story for their game. For Mario, Bowser kidnaps the princess, and for Sonic, Eggman does stuff.
They could probably go in for a good RPG.

dragn99 It'd be fun, but like I said, neither one of them really needs a story for their game. For Mario, Bowser kidnaps the princess, and for Sonic, Eggman does stuff. They could probably go in for a good RPG. Sonic already did that with Sonic Cronicals. I expect Mario to play like Mario 64, and Sonic play like on Sonic Adventure. Each having their own strengths and weaknesses.

Vincent, we don't bother with clever comebacks here.
I'm probably gonna have to lug my TV and Wii out to the living room so I can plug it in with the Ethernet cable to download Sonic 4. Gonna be a pain, but so worth it :l
