The day was coming to an end, as well as many creatures. Little by little, they were nestling in their homes, cozy and falling asleep. The stars were starting to twinkle in the sky.
But little Tarala was not ready for bed. She was up still, trying to find... She wasn't sure what she was looking for. Many times, she passed areas where she wanted to stop and rest, but for some reason, bees were all over the place! She would not settle with them. The shivers they gave her when they're around... Just the though brought the shivers again.
The forest was slowly getting darker as Tarala kept walking. The light was going to disa--
THUD! Tarala hadn't been looking where she was going and walked right into a tree. "Owww..." Birds flew out of the tree as she looked up into the sky. "Must stay in the moonlight now," she told herself while she walked, just a bit dizzy.

Magaskawee grumbled as she trudged through the forest in search of the cave she called home. Her long day of flying left her wings sore and unusable, and her legs had never been much use to her. They were bumped and brused and scraped from her various tumbles, and they buckled beneath her like a foal's legs.
The massive mare made her way slowly and carefully, wishing to avoid as much pain as possible. "Damn meadow. Could've just swooped around just one more time and been right home." She snorted angrily at herself while her pink petals swooped around her, as if ready to catch her if she fell.

Tarala's ears perked as she heard the sound of flapping. Immediately, she associated them with bees, and quickly hid her head under her front hooves, and then used her tail to swish as fast as possible.
"Don't hurt me Mr. Bee! Please go away!" The forest was getting increasingly darker, and Tarala was not amused; she could not see the bees with this light, only hear them.
The sound of flapping had quickly disappeared just like how quickly it had come. Tarala got up again, walking carefully in between the trees this time, hoping the moonlight would guide her way.
Even though she was being as careful as she could, her ears stayed alert, listening for sounds that would make it seem like Mr. Bee actually hadn't went to bed and was just waiting to strike. Oh how she hated being alone right now!

Magaskawee's ears swiveled when she heard a voice, and the massive mare rolled her eyes. She really wasn't interested in conversation or anything of the like. However, the voice sounded scared and pleading. Orange brows furrowed as the brain beneath them logically worked out what to do next.
Well, she thought, It could just be a pesky little foal or something, lost in the woods at night after running away for an adventure. If that's the case, stupid thing should've known better... But I could get in good with the parents if I brought it back. There were more possibilities, though. Or, it could be somebody trapped by a Kalona or Skinwalker. Her petals seemed infuriated with this thought and buzzed around her feet chaotically. A herd of these beasts had, after all, entrapped her mother and brother on this very mountain.
It was automatically settled, and the mare headed carefully toward where she'd heard the voice, her petals guiding the way. Mags squinted in the dim light as the trees blocked the moon's glow. Slowly but surely, she'd save the voice from its captors.
