 Episode One. Realizing What She Needed.
I wanna be the very best,
Like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real test;
To train them is my cause.
 Growing up in Kanto… was calm, and serene. Every kid’s dream was to visit Professor Oak and begin their Journey. Collecting Pokemon, filling their Pokedex’s… but this just wasn’t her style. It just wasn’t what she wanted to do. Her parents even offered maybe taking up breeding, being a coordinator, but now, none of that interested her. For as long as she could remember, she would always be fiddling with gadgets, figuring out how to make them work and most of all, their programming. She even disassembled her own father Pokedex! Which of course, he wasn’t very happy about at all. She longed for a way for her to enjoy her hobby…
But what she decided… was life changing.
Ame and her family moved to the Kodo region to settle in the city of Camphoreon. She was sixteen.
Late one night, she escaped her tiny apartment with her parents, to go snooping around the city to see what the sights were. And that’s where she ran into them. A couple of darkly dressed people and the only thing visible in the darkness was the Giant Red R. Yes. She’d heard of Team Rocket, but never really encountered them. So on this night, when these two nameless and somehow faceless Rockets caught her sneaking up to them, ever so cautiously, she feared the worst, but instead of doing anything rash, one of them simply handed her a card.
Her life changed, the very next morning.
 Episode Two. Challenging Fate.
I will travel across the land,
Searching far and wide.
Teach Pokemon to understand,
The power that's inside…
Her mother had died at 4am, while she had been out. Her father, who thought she’d been sleeping in her bed, came to wake her with the horrible new, only to find her gone. When Ame returned home late that morning, thinking she could just come up with some excuse as to why she was already out of the house, she was proven wrong.
Her father stood, once she entered the kitchen through the back door, eyeing glaring daggers at her. He didn’t say anything for a few long moments, as they just stared each other down. Finally, he spoke, “your mother… died this morning.”
Ame eyes widened. She knew her mother had been sick, some incurable disease that was causing her, and Ame stress. She crumpled to the ground, her knees becoming too weak to hold her up. Her father continued, “I went to wake you up… but found you… not there. Where were you.”
Ame swallowed. “I took a walk, I couldn’t sleep.”
The line her father’s mouth was making hardened.
Episode Three. Deciding Destiny.
Our hearts so true,
Our courage will pull us through.
You teach me and I'll teach you…
The six months… were hell. There was never a day that she and her father didn’t get into a fight. Ame, herself, either locked herself up in her room, messing with her programming, or was out in the night, sneaking around. She was probably lucky that he father hadn’t come to physical abuse yet, of all her torture. Sighing, she plopped down in the middle of a grassy field, the wind blowing calmly causing the grass to sway, and that’s when, she saw it.
Darting through the grass was a tiny animal which stilled itself near some trees and Ame crept closer, on her hands and knees. On closer inspection, Ame found that it was an Eevee; the color of the midnight sky. It’s ear twitched and she froze, her mind working furiously. She knew how to catch Pokemon, the problem was, she hadn’t any of her own to fight this one. So, critical thinking was had. Fishing through her pockets, she found a berry; she reached out settling the fruit in the grass and pulled her hand away. The Eevee scented the air and turned. The two of them caught sight of each other.
First, without taking its eyes of her, it crept up to the berry… sniffed it twice, and then ate it.
Secondly, it then began creeping closer to her, sniffing. It found the pouch at her hip and began prodding at it. She slowly sat up, pulling the pouch from her hip, and pulling out a few more berries.
“Vee!” chirped the creature.
She settles the fruits down on the ground, and the Eevee ate them up.
They were inseparable ever since.
Episode Four. Getting in.
Every challenge along the way;
With courage I can face.
I will battle everyday,
To claim my rightful place…
Finally having enough with the fighting, she left her father’s house three months later. Blue, which she had nicknamed the Eevee, was settled on her shoulder, looking rather worried at its human friend, who had her hand clenched around a card. “Vee?” he purred softly.
Ame sighed, looking to Blue and smiled, scratching him behind the ears. “I just can’t take it anymore. So… I know somewhere else to go… let’s just hope they take me in. For what it’s worth.”
The traveling was long.
This was the day, she sealed her future.IGNORE THIS. DX It took three days to make her ways to that unmarked place the card gave her very undescriptive details to. Finally in the middle of some big sandy desert, she found it. Kodo’s Team Rocket Headquarters. Why they would put it all the way out here, she would never know. Heading inside, she surprisingly found the place cool, and moist (or maybe that was just the dehydration from the heat talking), she read the card again, following it’s directions, and headed up to the 13th floor…
Here, she was given a very detailed interview, after of which she sat for several hours waiting for a verdict.
This was the day, she joined Team Rocket.
This was the day; she became a programmer for them.
