Ugh, I'm tired of the constant boy who cried wolf retirement year in year out with Favre. There are so many great young Quarterbacks comming out of college who deserve a shot on the field, proving themselves as the next big QB in this league.

I have respect for Favre, he's one of the best QB's I've ever seen play, but his time is up. He'll be turning 41 in October, he's a grandfather already, despite his pro bowl caliber season last year which nearly took the Vikings to the Superbowl, I wish he would just say he's retiring and stick with it. Let another young QB step up and feel the rush of being an NFL Quarterback.

Seriously, no one should have believed he was going to stay away. He didn't even really retire this time. Someone is going to have to break him to make him quite. Once he isn't building a record it will be harder for him to keep coming back.

I am not at all surprised. I think he will retire when he is forced to. Which I think is when he is, metaphorically, broken in half.
