I recently got the old SeraMyu songs in my head and I went looking for some original SeraMyu stuff to download and let me tell ya, I found the freakin jackpot!

For those of you who are oblivious, Seramyu is the live action Sailor Moon Musicals which started in 1993 and went on all the way to 2005 but if you ask me...Anza was the freakin best!

I never got a chance to see the Utena live action stuff, I had never really heard anything about it but I really enjoyed the anime! XD I would becareful though with Sailor Moon Dub. The stuff that was put out by DIC actually changes some aspects of the story because back in the day (yes I am old enough to use this phrase), Cartoons were only for kids in America, Japan was not so. sailor Moon was actually for a young girl/early teenage audience and evolved with that audience (i.e. the content got a bit older as it went on). This makes sense to the Japanese perspective as 5 year olds wouldn't understand the complex relationship between Haruka (Uranus) and Michiru (Neptune) and further more would not understand the next evolution of the Stars being men who transform into women....I thank the gods that DIC refused to translate (and ultimately change) that entire series. XD I would stick to subtitles all the way to get the most complete picture *~_^*

The Live action musicals (Seramyu) though, were actually geared toward the youngest audiences as it was a stage show. the good news is, it kept alot of the humor and class of the series by condensing an entire series into a 90min show, alot of the detail is merely looked over and so the lil ones don't have to be bothered by a close relationship with certain characters.
