(Noooot gunna be what you were expecting!)
Vane was sitting quietly in the room. It was early morning, and the sun had just begun to rise over the horizon, when Darth entered. The grombie was dressed as he always was, Spikey silver hair peeking out of his tophat, Chyaku Norrisu scarf billowing, in the usual attire of Black Pants, longcoat, shoes and silk shirt.
After the story he had written about himself and Miso, Vane wasn’t sure what to think about him. It had been an…interesting story. She wasn’t sure what to think at all. “Good morning.” She greeted politely.
“Morning.” He smiled, tipping his top hat allittle as a greeting. “I was just dropping by because there’s something I wanted to do.”
Vane felt panicked. Woah, Wasn’t this around the time that he had grabbed Miso in the other story? He wasn’t planning on doing that to her, was he!? She felt herself flush. “O-oh?” She asked worriedly, looking up at him.
He nodded and approached, stepping extremely close. Oh no! Vane thought weakly, He’s going to grab my wrists and pin them above my head, and then he’ll-
Gently he took her hand, and raised it gently, as if to pull her along somewhere. “It’s a beautiful morning.” The Grombie smiled at her, sincerity in her voice. “And I think on such a morning, perhaps a beautiful woman deserves a nice breakfast, don’t you?” He said turning back to look at her.
“Oh…oh…” Vane whispered quietly, surprised. “You aren’t going to… Weren’t going to… Like Miso?”
His blue eyes looked surprised. “Of course not.”He grinned, bending down to look in her eyes, and raising his free hand to stroke her cheek. “I’d never force you to do something like that. I’d never force anyone to do something like that.”He smiled, standing again. “Now come.” He said, carefully pulling her to her feet. “We’ll get breakfast.”

They were setting in chair at part of an outdoor café. Past the railing, the sun was still rising, making the clouds glow red and orange.
Darth was sitting across from her at the table, his plate empty. He had ordered a simple breakfast and had eaten it rather fast. He was sitting quietly, gloved hands clasped thoughtfully as he stared at the sunset, his blue eyes seeming to try and take in every detail.
Vane didn’t realize she was staring at him until he turned to look at her. “I’m sorry.” He said after a moment. “I Hope you don’t feel like I’m ignoring you. The sunrise is beautiful too.” He complimented. “And I have trouble picking which to look at, at one time.”
Vane smiled at him, and then looked at the sunset herself, and wondered briefly, if she had ever felt as at peace as she did now.
“Vane?” Darth asked seriously, albeit so quiet it was almost whispered, shifting around the table and moving beside her.
“Hmm?” vane asked, stunned by how serious he looked all the sudden. “What’s wrong?”
He reached into his pocket. “I know you’re nervous about this, and I just want you to know…”He pulled a Sweetheart ring from his pocket. “I’ll never pressure you into anything. I don’t want you to feel like that.” He smiled gently. “Ever. You should do, only what you want to do.” He said, and looked up at her quietly, this time, the picture of childish nervousness. “so…I uh… I want to ask, one more time, without laughing friends or an air of silliness…”
He peered up at her, worry across his eyes. “Will you…marry me?”
