I hate them! D< Ugh!
Many of them in my band are also pretty good players. Like, if they actually contributed to the better goodness of our band, it would be THAT much better! But no... they don't.
And they're usually also the people that make fun of me for actually doing what I'm supposed to and enjoying it. Sigh.

My only complaint is towards the guard. In our second segment, I have to cross over 2 yard lines. The guard gets do to an insanely slow half circle in front of me, and I get yeled at for not making my dot each time.

I hate people who always forget their music in the band room because our practice field is really far away from the highschool and we have to wait for them to get back and half of them don't even hurry.

I have a list of things...
- The guy who marches behind me (bass 5) : he crushes his sixteenths and diddles, is constantly talking and moving, and just doesn't take band seriously.
- One of the guys that plays tenors. I knew him last year, and he's really full of it. He basically thinks he's better because he plays tenors.
- People who can't guide. It's NOT THAT HARD.
- Newbies (from any grade) that think they know everything, mostly the sophomores, juniors, and seniors. They think that because they're older, they know everything. =/
Makes me mad, man. D:<

I am in college now and every year we get freshmen who think that since they did it for four years, they know everything and dont have to listen to the upper classmen. stressed We arent just calling them rookies to look down on them. They have no clue how we do it. It is not like their high school. Stop telling us how it can be done better. This is the way the band director is telling us to do it. I came from a similar boat. I was in a championship marching band. College band is completely different from competitive band.

Well since I just finished practice for today, I can tell you about this one idiot. The ONLY guy in the WHOLE band that screws around and he's on the ALT line...*sigh* He holds his sax above his head and dances like a retard. I ******** hate him!

I really, really hate when people keep messing up over, and over, and over again because then we have to keep going back and doing the same set continuously.

i hate it when the section leaders don't march w/proper technique, it's not all of them, but a lot of ours think their the ish & they don't need to march w/good technique. it really irks me when they yell at you w/proper technique & they aren't even close. they got that position to lead by example & b/c they're supposedly perfect but they're not all perfect.

OMFGWTFBBQ!! This trombone in my marching band is SOOO full of himself. All he does is plast his brains out, he will NEVER let you step yourself off when you check your dotbook, he has to do it for you because you will always wrong. When he is wrong and you try to correct him, he punches you in the stomache, yells at you, runs away, and cries. And he's not the only one. One of our drum majors this year and a baritone both do the same thing. I just want to take their trombones/baritone and shove it up their "brass". rofl
