As the title suggests I would like to now peoples favorite Silent Hill. Mine being Silent Hill 4 closely followed by 2.

Hmmmm, I would say for plot line, Shattered memories and 3 were great, and homecoming, but i think teh first two are best, and for gameplay origins because the controls are easy and work amazing! SH 2 never made much sense to me, to tell you teh truth sweatdrop but that one was fun! I usually hate to admit that being teh game has nothing to do with most of teh main series, but it still has some good memories.

SH 2 never made much sense to me, to tell you teh truth sweatdrop but that one was fun! I usually hate to admit that being teh game has nothing to do with most of teh main series, but it still has some good memories. I'll admit 2 was confusing the first time through but I thought over all it was a great game especially thanks to Pyramid Head making his grand appearance. We've loved and feared him ever since. But I did love Shattered Memories plot. I love the psychological implications of all the games but that one was the epitome of that.

It all was panicked flight. I'll admit I got lost more then once running through the nightmares. Although I must say I thought the ending was rather sad. crying

Well in 4 both me and the women I was trying to help died and Walter finishes the ritual. In 2 I got a pretty decent ending where me and the little girl leave after he comes to terms with his wife's death.

Shattered memories, I RELY want to say two, but the true ending of it pisses me off! I can't wait till Silent Hill 8 comes out though!

Ya, and this one you actually play as a criminal. What happens is the prison bus has to make a detour and flips. He is the only prisoner to escape and ends up in silent hill.
