New anime trailerSo, who wants to bet these avatars were won in a contest, just like in LOTT?
An a somewhat related note, do you believe storylines and plots keep getting reused?

I was confused as s**t when I first saw the pictures.. then after watching the trailer ... wow.
You see Alkaid, Aina, and tons more.
Then the models that the new main characters have... talk2hand
Don't get me wrong, I do love all the new action, but it confuses me how they're going to tie in this storyline with the others.

Yeah, they are reusing stuff. But then, there is one central concept that makes the game not just a normal game, so they will eventually have to reuse stuff. Maybe it's just some coincidence they look like that. We'll find out.

Maybe it's just some coincidence they look like that. We'll find out. I'm sure the programmers can come up with more stuff instead of reusing "physically in the game" (Tsukasa in //SIGN, now Tokio in //LINK, and them using it in the GU games as well.)

Tokio is like that in //LINK? Well, that's pretty fail. And hey, there was great explanation for it in the G.U.! They were in an AIDA server, not the actual game. I was thinking more about the "OMG COMAAAAAAAAA." thing that happens often.

Either I haven't played/watched .hack in forever, but that doesn't really seem like the artstyle I'm used to for the series....looks like...FMA? or am I just seeing things?.......either way....I'm betting it will be of 'meh' proportions...

Judging from the way the characters are drawn, it looks like an anime I wouldn't watch.

En; I don't know if it relates to who did the art, but Bee Train has not done the animation for Quantum, nor has Mashimo Koichi directed it.
Also, I'm just now reading that this is a 3 Episode OVA series, and will not have anything to do with //LINK.
