We wont be judged for where we are from?
So Lambo was up in Canada (around Vancouver BC)- Looking for a specific store while driving. Granted- Sure we were going slower than the speed limit to find the store we were looking for.
But then the car behind us honks and then changes lanes, zooms past us and yells "Go back to your own country!"
-Cause Lambo's car ish from the US...
Now the question ish- 1.) How do you know US is my country? -Lambo wasn't born in the US- Lambo lives in the US but Lambo doesn't claim the identity of being US- Lambo still holds onto being from Hong Kong 2.) Were they yelling at us because of the country or because of our ethnicity? -We were in an area with a lot of Chinese stores... 3.) How do you expect people to find things if they don't slow down and look for it? -Lambo understands that being stuck behind a slow vehicle is annoying but do you need to shout such obscenities at the people in the car?
D: Lambo's just still in shock from it all yoyo- Lambo's been in the US for a while but have never been told to go back to HK. :/
Are we stupid to bind people by what country they are from? Are we just someone just based off of what country our license plate is?
Topic: Have you ever gotten comments like that? You'd think with the "America= #1" idea that- it wouldn't be this way... =Sure American =/= #1 but, seriously. Who tells someone to go back to your own country just because they're looking for a dumpling store while driving on a street.

I think you're kind of making a big deal out of nothing redface It's probably just someone who had a long day and was pissy to be stuck behind slow-driving tourists.

Note: Lambo's not insinuating that all people from Canada are like this nor that one country ish bettah than another. Lambo's just saying it occurred in a country where Lambo ish not from.
@MistressMinako: We had a general idea of where the place was, just we had to slow down to be certain and that's when it happened...
Plus... How many people get long days on a Sunday? >w> Just saying... 2-3 o'clock on a Sunday...
@Sub-Par: Maybe Lambo ish owo But Lambo studies this as part of her major so it's just stuck to Lambo... It suprised Lambo cause Lambo's never heard it in real experience before... Only heard it in educational videos...
@Cleo: Maybe roadrage- Deesh is a bad sterotype that our family has come up with after the some 13 years we've been travelling up to Canada. The driving in one area (Richmond/Vancouver) ish a lot like Hong Kong Driving. It is very violent- people will steal your car parking, they will ram into you, and they are not afraid to squeeze into the most narrow places to get past you...
:'D But then again we go back to why can't we just assume people as they just are rather than by place XP...

Nay, I don't think you're really over reacting or anything. I've never had a time where someone said that to me and actually meant it. But it still hurts the same to me. Joking or not...
I've lived in the US since I was 2months old, so it's 'home' to me. =/

To be quite honest I doubt there will ever be a time when people don't discriminate against other people (I'm talking people generally here folks). There is always gonna be some people who can't accept people for who they are and treat them differently because of whatever. It's just how some people are. They shouldn't be like that, but they are.
But it's still rude.

I know that there are white supremacist and all, but is it just more noticeable in the US? Or is it the same everywhere you go?

Pretty much depends on where you are anywhere, even inside of the same country things like that vary from place to place.
