I cant seem to find any other colors that would look good as a font that doesn't abuse white and beige.

Font, I would go a dark gray, almost black looking.

_xX Es-One Xx_ Font, I would go a dark gray, almost black looking. iiColorRainbowz Perhaps a very soft green? I think, as Es said, the font as a dark grey, and maybe in the background, as Rainbowz said, a very soft green. Sounds like it would be cute, and worth a try.
