Rules.
No non-member posting. Please refrain from posting unless you are a member of this pack, or have been given permission/added to the list.
No Godmodding. This is a general rule of RP, please don't auto anyone's actions unless given written permission.
No Harrassment. Anyone found asking for ownership of ANY of these wolves will be reported to the shop.
Give Notice. This isn't really a rule, so much as a request. If you need to take sudden or planned leave for an extended period of time, please just make a quick OOC post so we know what's going on. We understand if it's not an option, and hope it won't be an issue. Please let us know as soon as you're able!
Carry Over. This means that all the rules that apply to the main shop thread [link] also apply here. See the rule below for further question.
Be Warned. If you enter this thread without permission you are endangering your character's safety, should you become a threat. Please avoid un-needed confrontations.

Updates.
01.16.06. Akamu and Lavena are officially expecting! Congratulations to the happy couple!!
08.09.05. Welcome Calico, Akamu, and Lavena to the pack! Don't forget to pick a spot on the map for your den, and PM your choice/location to the pack-mule!!
05.06.05. Koree has finally gotten off of her lazy bum and fixed the Pack's banners. She's also added muchos information to the "Packlands" post. She's ALSO added the map of the pack's territory, so please feel free to PM the pack-account [Hige x Loki] to have your wolf's den added.
*PM Tahja or the pack-account if you'd like artwork of your wolf's den.
03.28-31.05. The storm finally passed, and with it's departure the pack also has bid a farewell to Winter, Shilah, and Kaya, with hopes that better opprotunities lie in their future. Land ho! The new territory lies before them, behind them are the memories of thier short travel. You may explore and pick out den-sites for your wolves!
02.14.05. The pack found shelter and a bit of food, and it seems Balan even found another pup to join the ranks. O.o Storm will be hitting soon! XD
02.07.05. The pack is on the border of Selia and Devvyl's lands, they're heading South now to find a temporary shelter and food before the storm hits.

Pack Ranking. - Ranking has been determined! Now that positions are established you may PM this account if you wish for a different rank, but it must be backed by "RP-Proof". This means that we will not just change your wolf from gamma to omega, Jade and Rei are going to want to see RP that supports the change.  Pack Lands. - Images of the pack's territory can be found here, courtesy of Jestari, who was so kind as to take a random comission from me. :3 If you want to add a particular area or landmark to the territory, give this account a PM and we'll try to get it added.

Territory.Map. The borders of the freelands lay North, a 4-6 day travel for a wolf moving at a moderate pace. The closest neighboring pack belongs to Devvyl and Selia, Hige's adopted parents. It's a 2-3 day travel from the Seaside pack-lands to our Allies pack-lands. Please PM the Pack account [Hige x Loki] to have your densite or suggested lookout points added or moved on the map.

Landmarks. A collection of photograph images to give a better feel for the lay of the land. We'll have densite artwork up shortly. If you'd like to add a minor landmark please PM the pack-account, also any photographs you can provide would be most useful.
Seaside. The landmark that the pack has been named after: The sea. Vast and rich with sights and sounds, the seaside is an excellent resting spot for the wolves, especially during the hot months when those with thicker coats such as Hige and Thayne will find the water's edge to be most refreshing. There are dunes with tall grasses for pups to take shelter in for games of hide-and-seek, and among other things the view can be quite soothing.
River. There lies a wide river that travels alongside of the mountains. It is a rather dormant looking beast, almost more like an ongoing lake. It's waters are calm, but also deep, and houses the path that the fish swim to return to the ocean for spawning. The river is joined by a small stream to the west of it's tree-lined banks. The stream is an excellent fishing location during migration-season.
On the east of the river there is a cave at the foot of the center of the mountains. This cave is an excellent shelter and hiding place, as it burrows deeply under the mountains and leads away to a hidden cavern whose walls echo with the music the rock-pools create from within.
Mountains. The mighty guardians that lay East: these snow-capped landmarks were once the home of Hige, and still are to many other wolves. They provide a constant source of water as the snowcaps melt and trickle down into streams that carve through the lands to join the sea.
The South side of the mountains form trecherous cliffs not suitable for living, even if one could get to them. The North and West side of the mountains are surrounded by forest. A cave rests near the center of the West base, most likely an abandoned den. It has not yet been explored.
Cliffs. The mountains and the sea meet as well. On the far south-east end of the pack's territory there is a gravel-ridden strip of beach, where pebbles and bits of mountain were gradually worn away and fell to the earth and sea below. This area is dangerous during storms and high tide.

 Pack Calendar. - Check here for upcoming events and happenings. This includes pack hunts, outings, and OOC-vacations [If you know that you'll be away for a few days PM the pack-mule account [Hige x Loki] and we'll make note of it on the calendar.

02.07.05. The journey begins, the pack has aquired it's last initial member and are on their way to find food as well as a place to wait out the storm. After the storm passes the real journey will begin.
02.18.05. The storm is going to be coming down upon the pack tonight. [RP time: the same day they set out together.] Everyone needs to gather in the cave.
02.23.05. The storm has begun! Anyone that wasn't around to RP was herded into the shelter of the rock-crevice/makeshift-cave. There's a freshly captured deer carcass (Doe) sitting just at the entrance so as not to freeze, nor spoil. See pages 3 and 4 for details!
03.27.05. The pack has finally found their territory. Feel free to pick out den-sites and get your wolves settled in! ^_^

Sorry I abandoned you guys last night... sweatdrop I got back from eating and there were four people in here, so I ended up going to sleep in my boyfriend's room 'cause my roommate's a b***h and so are all her friends. I will make it up to you!

Hige gave a sound howl, stopping at the edge of his parent's lands to call to the rest of his pack, announcing his return.
As the last notes of the bay faded to ghost trills two lupine figures emerged from Selia and Devvyl's lands, Thayne following alongside of Hige... The latter mentioned wolf looked pleased, a sure sign that the afore-mentioned wolf had agreed to come along. As the two sauntered closer the "collared" male would smile, almost grinning, moving forward to n** at Loki's 'good' ear...
"Alright guys, let's travel for a bit, find some shelter... I think it's a good idea to hunt down some game before we seriously get going."
Hige turned his head to look towards his younger brother, very glad indeed to have yet another welcomed and very familiar scent among them. He needed to introduce Thayne to the four outsiders. "Thayne, this is Tsume, Winter, Shilah, and Kaya. They've all decided to come with us."

Thayne dipped his head slightly to the others, wagging his tail slightly. "'Allo," he greeted them shortly. It wasn't anything against them, just that he was a bit apprehensive about meeting new packmembers.
Especially since one of them was human.
The pup, Shilah, seemed very close to her, close like a pup to its sibling. Like Hige and he were close. That would explain her being here at all, probably.
He shook his head slightly, clearing the old images from his mind. Humans had been the final bringer of his old pack, but not this girl-child. She had nothing to do with it, and therefore he had no reason to distrust her.
At least, that's what he was telling himself.
He would simply have to try harder to overcome his old mindset, especially if he was going to make it with this pack. And he planned on that.

Tsume studied the, as of now, final mamber of this forming pack. He was still young, and seemed a bit aprehensive. But then again most of the pack was on the younger side still.
He gave a short acknowledgement to Hige's plan. They would have to find game often, the pups needed to be fed well or they would have trouble on the journey.
He got up from his resting position and shook out his fur. "You are the one who knows the way." He looked at Hige, expecting him to take the lead.

Loki launched slowely from her seated position amidst the new members of their pack and headed towards Thayne and her mate. She nuzzled the adolescent as Hige nipped at her ear, and returned the n**. There was no turning back now, they were striking out on their own, to build a strong new pack, worthy of the territory it claimed. She looked over the others as a general would survey his army, and was proud of them. She hardly knew more than half of them, but she'd get to know them, they would bond together.
She nodded at Hige's suggestion. The little ones needed to eat, she didn't wan them ending up like her.. sick before the trip was over. And with how small they were, they'd probably not be able to carry on like she had. They would carry them in their jaws, but.. that would be all they could do really, with no Shaman. "Hige, if you want I can watch the pups while you and the others hunt. Someone will need to stay with them, I'd want to hunt, but I'd also rather either you or I watch them while we're on the move." She hadn't hunted for herself since.. since she'd learned to catch fish in the river. That had been many moons ago, and she was a bit embarrassed at never learning to hunt anything more than fish. There would be time for that once they settled, though. For the time that they moved, she'd be happy watching over her young charges.

Hige grinned a bit, that was true. ^_^;
He looked to Loki and nodded his head once. "Let's get moving then, I'll take Kaya on my back, and we'll carry the other pups for now." He was clearly anxious to get them all into shelter before that storm arrived, not wanting to risk anyone getting sick or lost.
He looked to Kaya then and approached, moving to move himself between her legs, getting her onto his back. They needed to move quick, and he didn't know how well she could keep up in this snow with a pack of four-legged wolves. He waited until he could feel her forepaws tangle in his fur securely, then headed off, leading the pack, slow at first to make sure Kaya wouldn't go falling off. ((XD;; *lol* that would be horrible, but, amusing....))
He hoped that Thayne, Loki, Tsume, or Balan would take up Shilah and Winter, and with the pack finally settled for the first leg of their journey, he led the way.
~The further South we go, the more plentiful the game should be... If we're lucky we'll happen by some straggling deer or rabbits. Maybe we'll come by a stream...~ He wanted to avoid the larger waters such as lakes and rivers right now. Fea had been right in that. With the storm on it's way, at least, the water would put them at a disadvantage.
He kept his eyes and nose alert, ears as well, hoping to hear the echos of the wind blowing through a grouping or rocks, or smell the dank scent of moss. Something that could alert them to shelter from the onproaching storm. He'd probably take Tsume and Thayne along for the hunt, knowing Balan knew Kaya and Shilah and Winter already, and giving Loki a chance to get to know them all.... Meanwhile, the other three males would do a bit of bonding themselves. It had been a while since he felt like he'd had a proper chance to hang out with Thayne... he wanted to fix that before it got to be a problem. He was just waiting for the opprotune moment, he'd have to talk to Loki about that....
For now, they had to find a place to call shelter first.
"Who'dve thought a midnight run and a thornbush would lead to this, huh?" He grinned, looking at Loki who kept alongside him, from the corner of his eye.
