Stella is a whirlwind of curious activity--a hellcat, for lack of a better term. She wants to know everything all the time and all at once, but her hyperactivity and short attention span often prevent her from learning or doing what she initially sets out to. She is a very tactile child, preferring to learn by doing than by watching. Unfortunately, this kind of learning extends to everything around her, whether it's people or things; she is very straight-forward in this regard, and doesn't seem to possess the tact neccessary to prevent her from asking potentially embarassing questions to get what she wants. It also leads to many broken objects.
Her love of all things colorful is contrary to her own dark fur, but her equal love of shiny and texturally pleasing objects fits right in with a cat's nature. Also in keeping with her "black cat" theme is her inherently bad luck, although it is more like anyone in her presence is unlucky; Stella herself usually manages to get out of potentially dangerous scrapes with all of her nine lives intact.
