I'm really bored, so I thought " I'm gonna make a new thread today." That's right. So here it is: What's your favourite genre of music? Personally, my thoughts are: Electronica is the best. ever. I tend to listen to mostly alternative, but, like Miss Killjoy, I can listen to almost anything.

I don't listen to much music. Just in the car, most of the time to whatever's on................I'll pretty much listen to anything...

I like nearly every type of genre out there, but I've always been fond of modern rock and alternative music, especially by Japanese artists. 3nodding

As long as it sounds good, doesn't have some sort of idiocy about driving with guns, doing drugs, or the 'N' word, I'm happy.
Unless it's really corny, too. Yeah. Then it gets burned with the many other souls who try and fail miserably.
Mainly right now, though, I'm into the Japanese Techno stuff. But...I can't get my hands on any at the moment due to STUPID, STUPID, ABHORRENT DIAL-UP! *sob*

I agree with most people here, I can listen to most kinds of music, but here is a list of all the kinds I like, the ones I like most being at the top: Rock/Punk, Alternative/Indie, Rap, Techno/Electronica, Jazz, Classical, Country, and Metal.

But the music I listen to will depend on my mood. If I'm feeling light-hearted, I listen to some slow songs; if I'm feeling angsty, I listen to loud music; if I'm feeling mediocre, I listen to everything.
