It had a been a long and arduous day for the white and green male. For as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but Savannah in front of him and behind him. Velius let out a small sigh, one that he didn't want to escape but did. This life was rough, but it had it's rewards at times. Though they may be few and far between. Perhaps that's what enticed him? Who's to say but he?

His tail flicked slightly as he smelt the cool, damp scent of water. It wasn't until that, did he realize how parched he was. When was the last time he drank? He paused in his train of thoughts to think, but couldn't remember. Well, it would be a much needed break then, he concluded.

His course shifted slightly and headed towards the watering hole. It took him a brief while, but he arrived in due time. Although this wasn't as large as some of the ones he's been too, it was a nice size. Though, thirst took over him as he dipped his nose to the water and lapped it up in zest.

Kireiryuu: The voice of another made him pause in his drinking as he raised his head slowly. His eyes glanced around before settling on the female not too far off from him. Wow, how had he not noticed her presence before? Was he that distracted? No matter, it's rude to stare and even ruder to not return the favor.

"Oh! I didn't see you here, I must have been preoccupied. I'm Velius." He introduced himself.



[12:59] yinbug: Emm nodded back to the male sitting down on her haunches. "It's okay, I've looked over others before too." She let out a light chuckle before looking toward the water then back to him. "My name is Emm'ahlie." She then looked at him again. "It's nice to meet you Velius." HEr voice was flirt her words came out like a purr.

"I realy hope that you don't mind some company." She looked at him curiously.



[13:08] Kireiryuu: At her words and the soft purr that came from her, he couldn't help the curves of his mouth turn upward. "A pleasure to meet you, Emm'ahlie."

His tail flicked slightly as he shook his head, "There is no way I'd deny such a request from a lovely lady as yourself. Your company would be more than wanted." He took her flirtatious nature and put some charm in him as well.


[13:15] yinbug: Emm was glad to see the male so open to her joining him. He flicked his hair out of her eyes and moved a little closer to him, her shoulder brushing against his then a grin on her face grew. "This is very pleasant."

"Thank you very much." She answered back to him then leaned a bit. "My friend is sleeping and well I have no one to keep me compnay for the night. I would just go back to sleep but she has different... sleeping hours then I do at the moment." She laughed slightly before turning back toward him. :Company is always nice.:


[13:25] Kireiryuu: As she came over and leaned close to him, it was only inevitable that his shoulder would touch her every now and then, ever so casually. Velius smiled as she spoke, "That can be a challenge at times. But then again, perhaps it is better for me since I got to snag this chance to meet you."

He looked her over with a warm expression on his face, "It is nice to have the company of a friend when in the roguelands. I am unfortunate to not have a companion...or it could be fortunate, depending on how you look at it." He winked.



[13:34] yinbug: Emm chuckled slightly. "It is a little hard,can be harder depending on who you are." She let out a chuckle again before nodding. she knew all too well what it was like not really being able to do something that she wanted to do or for that matter what it was like to pass out and not have anyone help her. She lacked energy some times and man did she hate it. Especially the times where she didn't remember where she passed out so when she woke up she was really confused. She moved her tail to the other lions tail having it flop on top of his.

"It is nice though not having to stay in one place though." She purred again leaning into him some.



[13:46] Kireiryuu: As she purred and leaned against him, he took the initiative and leaned against her. It wouldn't be right to let the lovely lady do everything and he not return any. Afterall, what kind of charm would that be?

"This is true. It all depends on you," He paused, "I do rather enjoy not being tied down to one place. The pride thing doesn't suit my tastes at all. I love seeing everything. And meeting new friends." He directed a smile at her. "So what are two lovely ladies doing out here all by themselves?"



[14:47] yinbug: She grinned as he took his advantages easily and happily. She was glad that he was pretty okay with everything, that made it pretty nice for her. She pushed herself against him more kind of snuggling in his mane. Thenlaughing. "I like being able to wander it's just hard some times." She chuckled quietly before stretching her paws in front of her and wiggling. them. "Metting new friends is nice."

She thought for a moment then licked his maw. "Well... WE're taking a break from wandering for a few moments, we had been wandering for a while so now we're just resting


15:12] Kireiryuu: He nodded in agreement. It was hard and lonely at times, but it was times like these that shoved the negative stuff away. "Of course. That's a thing that keeps my spirits up when I am feeling particularly lonely or sad."

Ah, well that was good then. He was glad to hear this. "I am relieved. I wouldn't want something to happen to you or your friend in the event that you get famished or exhusted!" In a cheeky voice, "Oh no, what would I do without seeing your lovely face again!"

At her offer, he wasn't one to refuse such a great companion. Velius nodded his head as he accepted, "But of course. With you here, I'm sure things might appear a bit more interesting than if I was alone."

He stood and stretched his legs forward slightly, getting all the kinks and knots out of him so that he could enjoy himself. Green orbs gazed back to the female as he gave her a warm smile and waited for her to lead the way, "After you," He motioned for her to go forward as he'd follow her around for the rest of the day.
