The field was large by itself, but kept within school grounds with the fence that bordered around the university.

The front gate was always open, closing only during the evening times. Cement covered the school grounds, a huge change from the marble buildings itself. At the back was a large open greenery field of inch high grass. Rumors quickly spread, saying that it was far too open to be left alone like that and that something would be made. Too many said one thing while others said another so it was never a sure thing of what would be made.

"Alright then - Ogren, you're first." Nate revealed, motioning the hothead to step away from the class and into the lush grass. Without any hesitation the boy stepped out, grinning and slamming his fist into his free hand in excitement.

"So what? Am I going to be fighting you?" Ogren had asked him, and to answer Nate shook his head.

"No." He put bluntly, watching the boy's face fall in heavy disappointment and dissastifaction "We want to see what you're capable of doing, and having me - a moving target- could probably be too much for you. So.." He extended a hand, a luminous gold glow resonating from his blue sleeves like a sounding music fork. "This is your opponent." His sleeves began to unravel in layers, and continued on before moving to one spot, coiling around itself until it formed a human-sized dummy, devoid of detail. His sleeve, though seemed to be the manufacturer of the dummy, was kept intact as if his clothing had layers upon layers of cloth beneath it.

The fabric ripped once a thick dummy was formed, and with a twist of his wrist Nate took hold of the end that pulled away from his arms sleeve. Ogren himself still looked disappointed, which turned to insult when he looked at his opponent. "That thing isn't going to last! It'll burn!" The boy declarded.

"That's if you can even reveal your powers to us. Now hurry up." Nate urged. The kid stomped angrily at the floor before rushing towards the stationary dummy. Without thinking of how strong the dummy was, the pyro fighter kicked at the dummy's side.

A loud, metallic echo rang out and Ogren, who kept still, was left staring angrily at the dummy while keeping his leg against the dummy. "..It hurt, didn't it?" Nate asked, and before long Ogren's eyes welled up in tears. The boy fell, sniffling and holding onto his leg. "I can make my materials as hard as metal or crystal if I wanted..I didn't think you would refrain from using your fire techniques. You haven't learned.." Nate sighed, turning towards Misora. "Alright, Misora.."

He stepped away from Ogren and his dummy. "You're test will be to bring life to a premature plant. It's in here." He pulled out a vase that he had with him on his desk. "It's alright in soil, and I may not know much about plants and how they should be planted but I think that's about right. Come - follow me."

He stood up and walked a small ways from everyone, then set the porcelain vase down. The soil was inside the round orange object, soft. In truth he picked the soil off a store, hoping it was right. "I want you to help this seed bloom. I don't know what kind it is..so I don't know what it'll be. Now listen.." He now came to a whisper, "Like last night when you heard the trees, hear the seed. Even though it's premature it will speak to you...and I want you to use your notes to bring it out. Don't use too many..it's young, and you could kill it if you fail. Direct your notes into the vase, slowly and carefully. Sync yourself with the seed, and listen to it. Only then will you be able to help it. Understand?"

Misora watched Ogren kick the dummy without using his powers with a small smile. It made sense that it hurt, he should of just burned it. She nodded and followed Nate. She listened carefully and nodded again smiling. "I'll try." She said, then took out her violin. She put it to her shoulder, and her face became expressionless. She listened taking deep slow breathes, until a small smile came across her face when she heard the small voice of the seed. She listened to its voice, then started to play her violin with it. The heat started to grow in her and she built it up, through not as much as the night before, and then released it. The feeling of peace came flowing out from her and into her surroundings, when the music notes started to appear she tried directing hem into the seed. After the first note went into the seed a sprout shot up. After the second it grew higher, and with the third it grew it leaf. By the fifth note it had a few buds on it, and was higher than Misora's waist in the pot. Misora continued playing, now in a rhythm, ignoring everything around her. The noise from the class, even if Nate spoke to her she probably wouldn't of heard. She stopped after a few minutes, and to her surprise saw a small bush coverred in flowers where the seed and pot had once been. She brought her violin and bow back to her sides stareing at the bush in a bit of a shock. She felt tired now though, and her eyes were alf closed. Helping the plant grow had wore her out. Hopfully clas would end soon so she could nap...

"Good girl. Good luck."

The rest of his class had been looking at them, wondering what he was saying. Many spotted the vase that Nate provided for her, and he wondered if they would question. Probably not. Some of the students left the others to watch Misora, ooing and awing when the flower began to bloom.

"Alright, I'm looking for Tan now." Nate declared, looking into the group of students that were still left. One girl stepped out, shyly holding her bow in front of her with her head down. "I'm here.." Came her cute and innocent voice.

He clasped his hands together, "Good. So you're an archer. How..old school." The girl flinched. By the look of her face, and the blush across the bridge of her nose he knew that he had embarrassed her. "I'm sorry." He quickly repented; the girl just nodded timidly.

"Alright. This will be your target." With a wave of his arm he extended his sleeves once again, launching them an estimated twenty meters. Once again, it was human sized. "I want you to hit that target, directly in the forehead." The girl looked at him with an impossible look, but he just smiled. "I know you could do it." Once again the girl nodded and readied her bow and arrow, and Nate proceeded to the next student.

Once everyone was given their own task he watched, surveyed and studied. Even Ogren who had been felled was up and punching at the dummy. The boy still had not full grasp of his powers. Every now and then he would stop, sweat beads then rest.

Others were getting tired as well.

When he heard an applause Nate turned to see a vase of flowers in Misora's direction. "Well well.." He muttered, walking over to the group of kid's cheering for the nymph. "So you managed to make it bloom. Very impressive; are you tired?" Nate asked, putting a hand to her head.

Misora nodded her head slightly. She yawned blinking away tears. "Thank you. I'm very tired. After class is over and I'm back home I'm going to take a nap." She said, and yawned again. "Do I have a fever?" She asked. His hand was over her forehead so she wanted to know. Maybe she'd be allowed to nap or go home early... At least thats what she hoped.

Nate only smiled, and moved his hand to feel for her head. Warm as usual; nothing to say that she was feeling ill. "You don't have to lie, Misora. Lying is bad." He told her as if he was speaking to a child.

Moving his hand he moved some hair from the front of her forehead to that it was combed to it's appropriate side. "But you can go. Once you finish with today's lesson you're free to leave, as long as you tell me. Tell Mitsuki you passed with flying colors - and take your experiment for proof." He dusted her shoulders randomly, then stood up and looked around. Ogren was still fighting the dummy, tired. Tan had yet to hit the target. But a couple of others had already passed their test.

He turned back to Misora, "And I'll be stopping by tonight, only briefly. I'm sorry to say but I might have to change your schedule into the evening. Would that be alright with you and Mitsuki, Misora?"

Misora nodded, "I think so. And I wasn't lying, I am tired, and since your hand was on my forehead I wanted to make sure I didn't have a fever. I'll tell Mitsuki that your coming over later." She said smiling. She paused, then asked, "So may I please go home?"

"Yeah, go on. Good job today, Misora. Don't forget your work." He said, pointing to the vase. It was probably better suited with her than with him. The last plant he had had died..which was long ago.

No more said Nate turned to the rest of his class, mentally noting those who seemed to reach their limits and those who seemed unaffected at all. "Alright, you..you..and you and you..Can all go home as well. You did well. But as for those - Ogren, Tan, Lymel, Emily- I'm not satisfied yet. A little more and I might reconsider." Nate wasn't usually so strict, but he did have to nail in a few hard ones every now and then. "Come on..off your butt, Ogren. Get back to hitting the dummy; and Tan, you're getting closer to the forehead. Focus your aim and not your power. Come on, come on." Nate encourgaged. A few groans could be heard, but those who past hissed excitedly and were already on their way off.

Misora grabbed her plant happily and turned back to nate, "Thank you." and then happily left the feild headed for the living quarters "Mitsuki will be happy to hear I got a new power, ad that I got a plant. I bet she'll want to make some tea for Nate. I hope shes been ok today. Her side and arm looked pretty bad." She thought as she exited the field.

The day had taken longer than he had expected. Assigning each student their exams, guiding them and suggesting certain methods that could help. Not to mention using his powers to form dummies or actually put himself in a match between certain students. He was glad that he was to teach the first years; fighting and maintaning commands to more experienced students would have been too difficult. He was tired..

The rain made the windows of the university cold not only on the glass but within the school as well. The halls were chilly, and the faint hum of thunder was frightening. He knew of the forecast but it felt like this was only a light rain. A more fierce one was yet to come. A bad omen?

He got his organizer and filled it with some applications for Misora to request a change of time. He had too many students within the mornings, and his afternoon's weren't too busy but it would help if he increased the number in his evening classes. So that was what he was planning to do.

He decorated the organizer in his wraps, and steeling the fabric to keep it from getting wet. And to keep him from getting wet he formed an umbrella as well, hard as steel.

The school had gone empty, aside from him and some other staff. But as far as he knew most students had already gone home. It was to be his turn.

Rain fell harshly against the umbrella, his boots already victim to the pools that had formed. The gates were closed by this time, but were not locked until later on tonight. He always wondered if that was necessary..people could just jump or fly over.

"Man, it's chilly.."

The streets were dead as well, only a few people running to their homes. But he didn't feel like running. He'd rather walk. Living Quarters wasn't far anyways.

Serenity soared down and landed heavy onto the University fields, she had transformed at the base of the mountains and launched herself into the air using her large wings to carry herself away. She was tired and her main dropped over her eyes as fogged breath left her nostrils. She puffed out and shook her main gently. She wondered where she actually was and looked around raising her head and tucking her wings in.

She heard voices and flinched, she was to tired to take care of the problem and would have to run again. Serenity spotted a tree and shook her head and walked over to it, looking up it seemed like quite a sterdy tree and she used one montion of her wings and launched herself up into transfoming back into her human form as she landed on a thick section of the tree.

Serenity laid back in the tree her hair loose and a tired expression on her face, her solem dark eyes half open, if anything disturbed her sleep she would end up in a bad mood, but right now she couldn't be bothered to keep wondering around in search for a better place to go. Her breaths got slower as she calmed and soon drifted off to sleep.

Serenity grumbled slightly as she soon came round after a relaxing and refreshing sleep, the faint morning light seeped through the leaves and branches and caused her to open her eyes half way, she inhaled deeply and looked beneath her seeing the grass below and wondered where she was, as she then glanced around her, she remembered she hid up in the tree because of the demons last night.

The cold tension she felt during the night had eased away as she felt relaxed to see the sunlight, though at this moment she didn't really want to move from the tree, but she knew she would have to get moving soon, however for now she closed her eyes again and let out a slow light breath, she didn't plan of returning to sleep just to relax. "what are you doing Serenity..." she questioned herself in a soft gentle voice.

Without caution he stepped into the fields, gazing towards the university. From this far he could see the damage on the rooftop; it looked like something had blasted the edges off and he didn't think it was nature who did it. Though faint he could feel particles of a type of energy in the air. There must have been a battle the previous night..he would have to go to the roof for a closer look. No doubt that SDD are already there making sure that no one would be schooled today.

Distracted by some mumble he turned to a tree a little to his right and even though he couldn't see he could feel someone within its network of branches. But the feeling wasn't hostile. "Is someone there?" He called, loud enough for whatever was in the tree to hear him.

Dark wasn't the only one who felt a presence, it caused her to tense but not as much as the night just passed, the energy didn't seem aggressive though it was high, she wasn't sure wheather to actually make the effort to move or just stay put, she was still tired and certainly in no mood for a fight or arguement. Choosing to ignore it, she closed her eyes again and waited patiently for it to pass.

Serenity felt the energy get closer but it wasn't getting fainter anytime soon either, she guessed it must have picked up on her also, soon hearing a voice, Serenity let out a gentle, silent sigh and looked down at the ground below, she couldn't see all of him since the amount of leaves blocking her view. With a slight roll of the shoulders and a shift of position...Serenity dropped to the floor.

Looking back over her shoulder at Dark with her eyes half closed as usual as she then straightened her back and stoof tall before him, though he seemed to be taller. "sorry if i disturbed you or was in your way..." she spoke with a gentle voice with a hint of wisdom in it, "you may call me Serenity if it helps in anyway..." she addressed herself so the man before her wouldn't feel strange in not knowing what to call her.

Not long after he inquired on their presence a well-dressed lady came out of the tree, and he stared. He didn't know everyone in Sanctum but he didn't recognize this person. And he would think that one as dressed as her would be remembered.

"You weren't in my way or any of the sort. I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to try to do some ninja crap on me.." It wouldn't be the first time. Least this person was quickly formal. "Nice name." But I didn't ask for formalities.. But he wasn't going to be rude. There were many reasons why she would give him her name: one it was just polite.

"I'm Dark, Dark Ryosuke. Would it be rude to ask what you were doing in the tree? It looked like you just woke up."
