Alternative beginning
Moema was wandering, free as the butterfly marking she bore. Her paws took her anywhere and everywhere, whereever she coudl find something interesting to do or see or interact with. The days she had recently were blessed with bright sunny skies and little to no coud coverage, she had gotten super lucky, but had lead her to become super thirsty and dried out. "Water, should find some soon." She murmured as the hot sun beat down on her almost all black pelt, an unfortunate color on these days.
The leopard had been caught stalking his 'prey' for a while. She was smaller.. a hybrid he was sure ever since Nyoka had children. But with what? Unknowing to him that he was a leopard. In fact. He was BORN AND RAISED Cheetah for what he knew. A mother that never told him different and raised him like the rest.. He was fast too. But after a while of stalking the child.. he paused when her father came in to view.. They were traveling and he found it rather adorable to watch her.. But he too, needed breaks. So... he rested near a lil stream under some thick wood.. He curled closest to the log that seperated one side from the neck.
Fortunately for Moema the heat was about to be relinquished, to her surprise as she came aroound a bend there lay a stream, nothing to rush and get excited over, but something to quench and dampen her fur in fora little rest beneath a nearby tree. Also to her surprise and shock there was a guest besides herself, she could not hide herself, her pelt a startling abyss like blackness that swallowed the prarie colors of teh savannah. But she made no move to speak first, her ears flicked forward, tail low and body ready to be pushed into motion, she slinked forward and dipped her head, lapping quietly at the much needed liquid.
Bugie.. the leopard whom knew himself as a cheetah, hadn't noticed. An expert at killing, hunting, and stalking.. was caught a little off guard. His ears telling him that another was around.. but he was too absorbed in thinking how he wold show or greet himself.. until his neck prompted him up. Wondering why.. he looked around and saw the girl.. a leopard. Lowering his head as he watched from not too far away.. she seemed spooked? Wondeirng if he should say anything~ that she'd take off running or something. His voice was soft.. "thirsty much?"

Real beginning
Bugie had his body laid out in the sun.. His dark pelt making it hard to stand the heat but this was all more training to him. Protecting his rogue family was more important to him than living. Not knowing that in the future.... he will become apart of a great pride... but this.. was still sunsets to come.. For now the leopard yawned and lazily rolled as he knew that Aiko was running about and would tackle his lazy ways once she sees him. A roar bellowed and he immediately rolled on his back taking in the sun.. The long grass tickling his nose..
Moema was wandering now, her black/green pelt was no help during the day when the sun was high and roasting the Savannah to the ground. She was alone, not unusual, but bored. The day was becoming longer than normal and she was burdened with trying to find a place to sleep and with water. "There has to be someplace close." She hung her head, tail low and body close to slinking. She smelled the air, moisture flew about. There had to be someplace with water.
A yawn again bellowed as he decided she wasnt coming. She had been gone a while.. and he would probably be sent to go find it. Like always. But he wasn't too worried about it. Waiting for his elder brother's commands before going off after her. He lifted himself up.. lazily and dragged himself... to the watering hole.. that seemed to make only a few birds come through while a small gazelle.. alone.. was taking laps.. Not seeing him. How odd. The birds, once he came up to the shore the birds jumped along to the other side causing the gazelle to look up and dodge away.. He chuckled some before taking a few laps. He already had his fill for the day. Let someone else, hunger catch yea~.
Moema could only take a few more steps before collapsing and spotting a nice watering hole. It wasn't anything special, but would aid in her travels she brought herself to all her paws and stepped further, spotting a male. A leopard male! She gasped to herself and walked up to the water cautiously. She hadn't seen another feline in almost a week now. This was certainly a special ocassion and she wasn't about to mess it up with a sudden hello. So instead she quietly began lapping at the water, ignoring the male.
He took a few laps with a chuckle added and once he rose his head up.. he saw a girl!? She.. didn't look like a cheetah. More.. fluffier. Tilting his head and raising his head.. up. Then quickly went down in a shy manner and lapped some more. Nervously almost.. and from under his dark black fur.. there was a briight pink color just fuming on his cheeks.
She smirked, tail flicking, her eye's catching the whole moment of embaressment for the fella. He was cute when he actually looked up instead of nervosuly lapping at teh blue pool before him. Her green eye's twinkled dangerously. "Hey there.." She said sweetly, the dangerous twinkle disappearing before she spoke and stepped around the waters edge to get towards the male, his light black fur intrigued her, as teh sun came down on him in different ways she coudl see spots. How cute. She thought to herself.
His ears went up and he side stepped a little.. Raising his head and a slight smile.. but more of an embaressing smile.. to cover it up. "Ah.. hi." Another side step before raising his head fully up to where he met her at eye level. Well. He was just a tad bit taller because. Well. Of the muscles of his legs were strained to be like a cheetah's. "Haven't... seen you here." Ever. He thought but dare not to say outloud. Her pelt was.. somewhat like his but a major difference. What looked like a butterfly was laying upon her back with delicate greens.. Something to awe and be mezmorized with.
