9 years ago, when I was 6, My best friend was attacked....My family lived on the outskirts of a city, in a neighborhood that seemed "safe." We were proved wrong. I had been an argument with my friend and she started walking home alone even though she wasnt allowed too..on the way back, she was molested and raped. I felt so bad. I should have walked her home even if we were mad at each other. After wards, she went insane. Unfortunately, shes now got mental issues, literally. She always had had a little bit of them, but now they are much worse.. Shes in the states hospital, or so I heard...I never understood if something-anything- could have stopped her from losing her mind, but had she not been attacked, maybe she would still be sane..

I'm so sorry that's happened!
Please don't feel bad. There's only one thing i can say:
"Whatever the devil meant for bad,god meant for good."
Pray for her,and belive everyday she will be able to process and get better.
I will pray for her as well.

I'm so sorry to hear about that.
Especially involving the mental illness.
There's not much you can do, and it's not your fault.
Sanity may have been lost either way...
Just try to comfort her as best as you can.

Hades - Goddess Of Death I'm so sorry that's happened!
Please don't feel bad. There's only one thing i can say:
"Whatever the devil meant for bad,god meant for good."
Pray for her,and belive everyday she will be able to process and get better.
I will pray for her as well. I do pray..it just seems like she never gets better no mater how many times i do..

Welcome Bucky I'm so sorry to hear about that.
Especially involving the mental illness.
There's not much you can do, and it's not your fault.
Sanity may have been lost either way...
Just try to comfort her as best as you can. ..i suppose. She had been showing signs of insanity when she was young, probably from all the head trauma she suffered..

I would not be surprised to get traumatized at that age.

I'm terribly sorry that happened. And it isn't your fault, really. She could have still been attacked even if you were walking with her, or the person could have gotten you both. Just pray and try to be there for her.

and sorry to hear that you have felt sorry because you didn't walk her home, its not your fault and you didn't know what was gunna happen.

But in theory i was a complete and utter idiot. I still should have walked her home, and I agree. I didnt know what was going to happen, but I guess the insanity couldnt be helped.

Don't feel bad. Guilt will only eat you alive.
It was not your fault. Its not like you hired that man.
It is not your fault. Your innocent. I know you must feel guilty for not walking her home but, it wasn't your fault. And its typical for friends to fight and then walk off separate ways.
