I'm surprised this wasn't brought up in the vanity fair thread but, what do you guys think of her admitting she does cocaine a couple times a year? but she hasnt done it in the last 6 months. Does your image of her stay the same? Did you lose SOME respect for her? tell me.
What I thought about it is, yes it is a REALLY bad thing she does, but I'm glad she isnt doing it all the time, and hopefully she'll quit it entirely someday. But it doesnt alter my image of her at all, I care more about her smoking everyday and ruining her lungs than doing cocaine a couple times a year.

In all honesty, I don't really see marijuana or cocaine to be "bad" per se. I see them as no worse than alcohol, and IMO all three are much safer and less destructive on the body than nicotine and cigaretees/cigars. Not to mention, Marijuana is legal in much of the world, and cocaine was legal and drunk from blue bottles over a hundred years ago. And back then we didn't have the drug addicted hobo issue we have nowadays.
The issue with such drugs as coke, alcohol and marijuana is that people rarely can pull of occasional use. It takes an incredible amount of resolve as well as self-respect and confidence, and GaGa has shown us multiple times that she has such qualities. So no, my image of her has not changed, and I find nothing really bad to it. Obviously I hope she stays careful and does not become an addict, but I have faith in her.

I haven't lost any respect for her at all. In fact, I've gained respect for her. She's passed stage 1 of any drug problem: admitting that there has been drug usage.
She's amazing. I can't imagine the stress she's been through and the fact that she's held off on cocaine is an awesome thing. I just hope that in the long run she'll be okay, and that she will not be going back to it as she sees it as an unnecessary obstacle.

But it doesnt alter my image of her at all, I care more about her smoking everyday and ruining her lungs than doing cocaine a couple times a year. it wasnt brought up b/c it's been mentioned before in another similar topic.. she's "admitted" it before but i guess it's a good idea to bring it up again...? she can take care of herself. i actually admire her more for her courage to admit it, knowing it's a "bad thing" in society. all i care about is not affecting her career, but that's up to HER.

I really hate the fact that gagag smokes. My grandma needs air forced into her lungs every single time she trys to takes a breath because her lungs are so bad because of years of smoking. I don't think gaga did it as much as my grandma but I still don't want her lungs to go bad because she needs them for her career! :O
and with cocaine, She use to do it alot more when she was younger and not famous and all she would do was huff it and get high to write music. Now, she doesn't need it anymore. I think she said she wasn't going to use it anymore.
but she did say that she used ecstasy once and awhile while she's on tour. I don't think she needs ecstasy to make her feel relaxed or free.
but those are just my opinions...My views on her have changed slightly but not much

Some of you must've read my post wrong or I was unclear, she still uses cocaine but only a couple times a year. this is new information, but yes she did used to use it a lot which is a good thing she stopped (kinda)
