卍 一は全、 A long stone path through a bamboo grove leads to a small Buddhist shrine nestled in a cliff wall. A few meters to the left of it, a waterfall roars. Behind this waterfall is a vast network of caverns. Some of the tunnels have been built up to provide living space, while others contain small shrines or are even barricaded. Maps are posted for visitors. Red X's are blocked paths.  Out on a rock next to the falls sits Manguusu, the caretaker of the many shrines. He's meditating, but is having a hard time due to the suzumebachi that just landed on his head. After a few tense moments, the hornet flies away. Manguusu then stands and fetches a sign post. Hammering it into the earth near the path. It reads: "Rules: 1. Follow the Gaia TOS. 2. Feel free to RP if you like. 3. Any discussion is welcomed. 4. Expect any posts by me to be non sequitur. 5. I will answer any questions even if I'm meditating, so feel free to ask. 6. Don't mind the hornets; I haven't been able to find the nest in the bamboo." Manguusu then gets back on his rock and resumes meditating. Assuming the hornets will let him. 全は一。卐

well, this is quite lovely. ^_^ a pretty place, i love Forests and Caverns! and Running Water. and Shrines. ....

卍 一は全、 After a few fruitless hours of searching, Manguusu has given up on finding the hornet's nest. "Eh, oh well. I think I'll put in a Dry Landscape Zen garden on the right side of the shrine." *A suzumebachi lands on his head* With clenched teeth, Manguusu mutters, "3, 2, 1." He then bolts for the cave. "I'LL DO IT LATER!!!" gonk 全は一。卐

卍 一は全、 I have built my Garden. mrgreen ... *checks for hornets* sweatdrop Whew, don't see any. *walks back into cave* Snack time, OM NOM NOM!!! xp Now, I remember seeing Twi enter earlier, but I haven't seen him since... I hope he's not lost in the caverns; especially if he found a way around the barricades. That area's not mapped.... 全は一。卐

It took an hour to find everything again. And I won't push that code on you. mrgreen Also, I myself will not follow some of the stricter ones, such as no music/performances. Music is a basic human art, and should be enjoyed. 全は一。卐

Music is a basic human art, and should be enjoyed. 全は一。卐 heh. i understand the whole "messy genius" thing, i'm guilty of it myself. i've got a friend who is writing a book he titles Intelligence & Insanity which is based on his life experiences, and how he has come to realize that the truely knowledgable and "genius" people are, by consequence, Insane. Sanity is the price payed for Understanding.

I believe the two may be somehow connected. ninja I'm not calling myself a genius. I'm neither smart enough nor crazy enough to be one. xd 全は一。卐

I'm neither smart enough nor crazy enough to be one. xd 全は一。卐 i certainly have my failings in certain fields, though i attribute a definite high intellegence to myself, and a thirst for knowledge.... it is just that i have pursued it in a direction abnormal to societal standards. that is, i enjoy History, Theology, Philosophy, and Science (especially Biology, Chemistry, and Quantum Physics). i also have a deep Occult fascination. i am less interested in mundane and practical knowledges, such as mechanics, mathematics, and english, leastways as far as people can tell. in actuallity, i seek very much to know these! i guess i am having difficulty explaining what i mean, but that's part of my point which i was straying from anyway! xd i have severe communication disabilities. not the least of them being Paranoid Schitzophrenia. it is possible though that it is actually something else, not Schitzophrenia. which is why i seek a thorough evaluation. i have serious phobias, bipolar tendencies, i suffer from night terrors and halluscinations, i am prone to hysteria when stressed out, i struggle with depression and anorexia, am a former suicidal, and suffer from extreme anxiety. i have pretty severe autistic behaviors and traits, and also very dangerous antisocial cravings (i am tempted to do very heinous things, and when i am hysteric or otherwise in the moment i can in fact not care who i am hurting or killing until after the fact). and finally, i just plain am not very solidly grounded in "reality". not that i even think reality is an accurate term for "normal" life.

卍 一は全、 I actually know someone else who's like that. She's got OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and depression, takes like five different meds (some of which naturally cancel each other out), and is still completely bonkers on them. She's really smart and a good person, just stark raving mad. I wish you good luck with life's difficulties. Reality is almost completely subjective. It's all about the viewer's point of view. 全は一。卐
