 She stepped from the path in which her secluded area was hidden and looked around. The forest was lovely at this hour. Shaking the sleep from her body, she walked away from the little path, tail dragging behind her. She was headed to a fruit bearing tree for her snack before she started to make her rounds of wandering around aimlessly.

 Illidan snorted softly as he loped through the darkened forest. He'd strayed far from the cave he'd made his home, but was in the mood to wander this night. The night always made him feel more like his old self, reminded him of the home he'd been banished from. Lifting his head, he took in the scent of fruit and... something familiar.

The fruit was just out of her reach as she reared and attempted to get to it. Her stomach was rumbling in it's annoyance with the situation. Certainly she could just move on and find a lower branched tree to get the fruit from but she was being hard headed and stubborn at this point. This was the tree she wanted the fruit from and her hunger was being impatient about it. Dropping to all fours, she turned her hind end to the tree and kicked. The leaves of the tree rustled and shook, but alas no fruit was to be had.

Illidan tilted his head, watching the mare through his blindfold. He remembered her from before. Shoshanna. Moving forward and past the mare, he flicked his wings upwards, sending a rain of sweet fruit down on both of them.
"That was more than I expected to come down, sorry," he said, lowering his head a bit.

Seeing all that fruit raining down was rather amusing. It brought a smile to her face and a chuckle from her mouth. "Ah yes... but at least it saves me from having to find a new tree.." It took her a few moments as she munched on some fruit to recognize who he was. "It's been a while, but I'm glad to see you again Illidan."

The stallion raised his head slightly. "It's good to see you again, too. How have you been?" He ducked his head down to enjoy some of the fruit as well.

"I've been well. How about you?" She nibbled on another piece of fruit, her stomach beginning to give the happy feeling it usually gave when it had food.

"I have found a home for myself finally," Illidan told her, lifting his head in the direction of his cave high up in the hills. "A young mare given to exploring showed it to me. It's been a good place to settle so far."

"Sounds nice. I'm glad you found yourself a home." I've been up to my usual exploring type of thing again.. finally made my way to the beach.." She gave a small shutter the ocean was most certainly not her friend.

"I have not ventured there yet, but I have always been curious about it," Illidan said softly. "I've heard stories that there are Soquili that can swim like fish and some that can walk between the realms of land and sea."

Nodding she smiled. "Yes, I've heard the same.. though I'll not be testing the waters of the sea ever again I'm afraid my first encounter with it was... not a very friendly one..." Shaking her head she picked up one last piece of fruit and ate it quietly.

"No?" the stallion asked, curiosity piqued, though also concerned. "Were you hurt when you went?" Perhaps the beach was not a place to visit after all.

"Er.. no not really.. more like I was nearly drug off to sea. It was frighting enough that I doubt I'll be playing in the ocean any time soon.." Her cheeks flushed with the embarrassment she had of being so clumsy as to be nearly drug off to sea by a wave.

Illidan bristled a bit. "Something tried to drag you off to sea?" This mare was his friend and he would not suffer to see any friend of his hurt. He had so few he could truly call friends, after all.

"Well I guess you could call a big wave a thing.. It sort of crashed down on my head and the next thing i knew I was finding myself making my way further out into deeper water.. Luckily a friend helped to get me out.. rather lucky my mane's as long as it is.. It was the only thing he could get hold of and still keep his own hooves on the sand." Shaking her head she sighed some. "Was my own fault really I shouldn't have wandered so very far out.." She gave a small sheepish look.
