The night was falling, the sky was made of varying shades of purples, reds, and blues. One would think they even saw greens and other colors in there as well but no one was ever sure of such gorgeous things. There were a few stars trying to shine through the setting of the sun, and the moon was out already. In all it was turning out to be a gorgeous evening.
Tareth was stretching her legs along a thin strip of beach, her hooves almost splashing in the water as she ran. Her mane and tail rippled out behind her, curling even more from the wind. Ah, she loved this feeling. It was far better than anything she had found to the day. The only thing that would have made the evening better would have been a really good looking stallion for her to stare at...

Hampton stood out on the beach. He was relaxing as it had a been a long day. Okay, maybe not as long as others would think, but he felt it was a nice day. Now being there with the water was nice.
As he watched he saw another Soquili running along the beach. She looked like she was enjoying the evening in the sand like he was. That was a nice sight.

Gah! There was a stallion, and he was just standing there, right in her way! Tareth attempted to slow down, skidding in the sand still warmed from the sun earlier in the day. During her skidding she had managed to spray sand all over him. So much for a vision on the sand. Blushing, she turned her head, about to mumble an apology for covering him in a fresh coating of the scratchy stuff below their hooves.
"S-sorry, I didn't see you till a second too late to stop.." Tareth was quiet, it was almost impossible to hear her voice over the waves but if one listened it was clearly there.

Hampton attempted to move but alas it was too late. After he was sprayed with sand. Hampton looked at himself. He was covered in dirt... oh no she didn't.
"You didn't see me? Well, I guess that's fine." Hampton said in a huff. He began to shake himself not caring if he got her dirty as she was the one who got him covered in it in the first place.

Ack, was he really being rude with just shaking off the sand? Tareth didn't really move, thinking about it she was probably asking for it. "Well you kind of blend into the scenery and all.." She mumbled, not looking him in the eye. The young mare was clearly embarrassed, or at least she thought she looked that way.

Hampton thought about it, yes he did seem to match it. He guessed he have to let it slide this time. He just hated being dirty. It was beneath him.
"So, what are you up to?" He asked nicely. It was time to change the subject. "I'm Hampton, by the way." He added hastily.
