Historically, the longer-evolving items have done better as investments than the short turnaround items, but we don't have much of history of the short items, as the Pistolera is only the third.
However, the Forteangoria is aliens, which Gaia loves, and not everyone else does. So it's a toss up. Do we know who the artists of each are? That may be the way to bet.

Pistolera:
-Made by Milkbun
-Evolves every Tuesday and Friday
-Evolves for an unknowen amount of time
-All the poses are pre-maid so far less chance of any kind of delay
-Based off of gunner class mmo and such
(see fanthread in the GCD for any other possible details)
Forteangoria
-Unknownen artist
-Should evolve every 3weeks (thats based on normal 749 EIs)
-Poses arent pre-maid, better chances at delays
-Alien based, Not the easiest to match
(see Fanthread in GCD for more details)
This is a tough choice. There isnt a safe bet here. Look at the facts and READ through the fanthreads. Either could do well but at the same time both could flop.
In my personnal opinion. I would go for the Pistolera. Many gaians seem to be happy about the guns and with its fast paced schedule I think you will be able to sell it faster then the other one.
