The bottom of one of the largest mountains in the world. Spanning miles around, the bottom of the mountain is sheer cliff for about thirty feet, making it nearly impossible to climb. In one spot however, there is a trail leading up the side of the mountain. This trail is the only safe way for land based creatures to access the mountain, but it leads through all of the various places where monsters have hidden themselves away. This is the type of place only skilled adventurers should try to enter.
Those wishing to climb the mountain must pass this point. There is a small cabin at the entrance to the trail, where an old man watches to be sure those that climb are ready for the dangers of this place.

Tory arrives at the Caverns, "So these are the caverns. They're beautiful.", he says while gazing at the stunning dark elegance of the dangerous mountains. "What do you think, L?", he said waiting for a response.

Lenon appeared behind Tory, his silent footsteps not disturbing the quiet of the mountain's base. "It's interesting." He said simply to Tory. "We best be getting ahead." Lenon began to swiftly climb up the moutainside, something that Tory would have more trouble doing. Lenon's assassin skills would have him reach the top long before Tory, he thought, as he skillfully inserted his hand into a tiny notch and pushed himself up with his feet. He was thankful for the skin - tight clothing, too, for anything more would have gotten caught on the branches and stones sticking out of the side. He heaved himself up onto the trail and motioned for Tory to hurry himself up.

"Oi! You there!" Came the voice of an old man. The sound of a wooden door slamming shut following seconds later. There was a tiny shack at the start of the trail, a sentry set to keep people from climbing to their own deaths. "What are you thinking, trying to climb this mountain?" He called out, walking over to the two boys. "Only the strongest survive that climb, and you don't look like the strongest to me." He scoffed, stopping a few feet away as he looked closely at the two.

Lenon pulled back his outstretched hand and started down at the man below him on the trail. He put his fists on his hips, hopefully in a manner that didn't look very threatening, but instead authoritative. "We have instructions from the Lord of the Light empire that involves us entering these mountains, sir, and if you have any problem with that, I would suggest you take it up with him." Lenon replied in a monotonous voice. His right foot has shifted on the dirt to give him a more stable stance on the ground. "I assure you, we'll be fine." He moved just a calculated amount to shift his weight to the other foot so that the sword at his side would sway a bit more, making it obvious to the man that Lenon wasn't helpless.

"If you knew anything about this mountain." The old man began, spitting off to the side. "You wouldn't have just climbed into a Wyvern's nest." And it was true, if the boy just looked to his feet, he'd find that he was in fact standing in a large nest. "Now I'd recommend you get down here before Mama gets back, and off the mountain before you get eaten." This old man had seen plenty of confident kids go up the mountain, and a small pile of bones come back. Almost none of those beginners came back alive. "I really don't care if the beasts kill you, but I've given you fair warning." He sighed, moving back to his shack and sitting down to watch the kids from afar. And probably a mutilation in a few minutes, if that spec in the sky was Mama coming home to check on her eggs.

Lenon sighed and looked down, failing to realize how he had somehow managed to climb into a wyvern's nest without realizing it. He hopped down strode to stand in front of the man as if they were having a normal conversation. "I was sent to look for two rouge Toransu and bring them back alive. I am not going to go back to the mission center and report a failure." His right hand twitched. "Now, if you could, would you be kind enough to point out where any Toransu might be? It would certainly help with our quest." he asked in a somewhat lower than normal voice. If this old man was correct, than Lenon did not know half of what this mountain contained. Nor did he feel as if he wanted to.

The old man blinked and stared at the boy, and then stared a bit more. "Toransu?" He asked, before bursting out in a short bit of laughter. "On my mountain?" He snickered out, before sighing and looking up at the boy. "You'll never find one of them in this place. They never go anywhere they can't charge their batteries. Whoever tipped you off was sorely mistaken kid." He said, shaking his head in mirth. Who would imagine those techno freaks living on a mountain? It was downright silly! "And if by rogue, you're referring to the imperial ranking system, there are no rogues on this mountain. This is a place where only monsters reside." As the man spoke, a glint could be seen in his eye. When he was young himself, he had challenged the mountain. An entire army went up, and only he returned. Ever since then, he had lived in his little shack, to keep as many kids as possible from making the same mistake as they had made.
"If your leaders are sending you after rogues still, stay as far from this mountain as you can." He warned, standing up and going to the door of his shack. "Only death lies on that mountain for newbies." And with that, the door closed. He felt he had made his point well enough, and wouldn't be coming back out to give more advice.

((OMG I'm so sorry. My brother stole my laptop. Plz forgive me.) Tory looked at both of them and said, "I'm sorry sir, but either way it goes we have to scale this mountain and complete our objective, whether we have your blessing or not. We are hear to represent the Light Empire and that's what we plan to do.", he said bowing. He then turned to Lenon with a look saying, "Shall we go?"

Dragon Wind / Fire
Off in the distance, the speck the old man had seen began to grow, the flying creature coming closer at a rather rapid pace. As it came into view however, it would be easily visible that it was not a wyvern as he had thought. No, it was something much worse. A black dragon! The dragon didn't seem to notice the people down below at first, as it landed directly in the wyvern's nest and began sniffing around. It could smell something here, and it wanted to eat it. When it's nose bumped up against the wyvern's eggs, it stopped. Were these edible? Did they taste good? Did it really matter? Opening it's mouth wide, the dragon chomped down on the first of the eggs, splitting it open and eating the contents, along with half of the shell. Rather liking the taste, it licked out the remains of the corpse within the egg, them having been ready to hatch quite soon, and moved on to the next, eating all of the eggs.
With it's hunger satisfied, the dragon laid down in the nest and began to lick it's chops, peering over the edge and finally spotting the two boys down below on the trail. What were those things? Were they edible? Jumping down onto the trail, the dragon began to circle around the boys, sniffing their legs, and occasionally rearing up on it's hind legs to sniff them higher up. What were these creatures? They smelled funny, as if they weren't real. What did that even mean? How did he know what smelled real or fake? Give him a break, he was only a couple hours old.

It helps people to judge your strength, and is highly useful for such things as determining what I should kill you with. And don't mind the dragon. He's just curious. If you just back away slowly, he probably won't eat you. }

Lenon groaned silently, motioning for Tory to stay silent. - Of course, we would encounter a dragon.- He thought to himself, slightly annoyed and frightened at the same time. Lenon stood deathly still, his face turning pale white as the Black Dragon sniffed around his legs, and he almost lost it and ran as it reared up on its hind legs. Droplets of sweat were running down the back of his scalp as he watched the dragon. It seemed as if it was debating on whether or not to eat them. Grasping the last sane area in his mind, Lenon hung onto the hope that the Dragon, which seemed much like a baby, would leave them alone if they tried to get away from it using small, baby steps. Resisting the urge to simply run as fast as he could into safety, Lenon simply and slowly picked up his right foot and began to step away from the dragon slowly, hoping that he wouldn't fall off a cliff or smack right into rocks. That would certainly not be very fun. =========================================== Strength: 10/100 Defense: 5/100 Agility: 15/100 Dexterity: 10/100 Endurance: 10/100 Magic: 0/100

Tory looks at the small dragon. His face lit up. He looked at Lenon in a way saying, "Why are you so nervous, it's just a baby.", Tory smiled and walked towards it. "Hey little guy, what are you doing here all by yourself. You know it's dangerous out here and you don't look be no more than a week old. Or less.", he said approaching it. He then knelt down and attempted to pet it on the head. His heart began to race due to the fact that this is the first time he has ever seen a dragon, let alone touch one. ================================================= Strength: 15/100 Defense: 10/100 Agility: 15/100 Dexterity: 5/100 Endurance: 5/100 Magic: 0/100

Dragon Wind / Fire
The dragon's nose shot straight to Lenon's shoes as they began to move, sniffing and prodding at them as if to figure out just how they had made that sudden action. The smells were beginning to make sense now too. They weren't fake, it was just all that junk they had wrapped themselves up in that was fake. The baby was quite happy with it's new discovery, and pulled itself back in to look at the odd creatures again, only to freeze when it saw something coming toward it's head! It was under attack! What should it do?! Jumping backwards a couple of feet, the dragon lowered itself into a defensive posture and began to growl at the offending hand. Why was this creature trying to touch it? As it growled, it's lips began to spread, showing it's mouth to be void of teeth. For a few seconds anyways, as the teeth slowly emerged, turning a harmless mouth into a fearsome thing of mauling.

Tory tried his best to give off a vibe of friendship. "It's ok little guy, I'm not here to hurt you.", he said. Tory got down to eye level with the baby dragon. He puts his hands behind his back to show that he's not a threat. "I'm not here to cause harm. Just looking to create new friends.", he said. He then gave the baby dragon a nice warm smile to try to ease it's angered and defensive mind. ======================================== Strength: 15/100 Defense: 10/100 Agility: 15/100 Dexterity: 5/100 Endurance: 5/100 Magic: 0/100
