"Ahem. Hmmm." He rubbed his throat. Another bad problem he was having was that his voice was splitting. It cracked and gave out sometimes and he just didn't know why. It went from normal to high pitched to dropping out completely. If his domain didn't rely on his ability to talk, he would start cursing his voice.
While he tried to work his throat to work right, testing out sentences like 'the little lion leaped lightly' and 'chirping crickets check cherries cheerfully', he finally managed to find water. A small pool of water under the shade of a few trees. It glistened and looked cool, and he came over to find it was a little murky. Well, it was better than anything. "Proudly playing in pools of purple ponds' he stated, grinning at himself for his ability at alliteration. With that, he started to drink.

 Malika'eusi wasn't entirely sure of where she was but it seemed to be a common thing in her travels. She was still new to the world, even as an adult because one day she had just woken up with no memory of the past. She knew only a few things, her name, her domain and the fact that she had, in a sense, been reborn.
Whatever had happened in her previous life it had been wiped from her memory in order to give her a clean slate. "I have seen how you have suffered but helped others. I am here to offer you a second chance. A new start, do you accept?" "I do" "Then from now on, you are Words" The memory hurt her head because she only could remember the words but not the actual event. It was how most of her memories went. At least the ones she could recall.
She only got words and not the actual event. It was frustrating for the goddess. She heaved a sigh and shook her head as she trotted along knowing that she was in the mortal realm but without much knowledge as to where.
"My, my it appears that I am lost again," she mused with a faint smile.

He felt an electric prickle slither up his spine that, unbeknown to him, was the sign of another God (or Goddess in this case). Ears perked, he lifted his head, licking off the water from his muzzle, and started to look around. Lack of education on how to sense another God meant he was still wondering what he was feeling, while not meeting many mortals still had him thinking that yes, a mortal could get as big as a god. When he spotted the Goddess, he took her lack of wings to signify that she was probably a mortal. Even if he traveled with Lucretia, a goddess who also had no wings, he typically jumped to that conclusion.
The lioness was moving slowly, her eyes looking about as if unsure of her surroundings. Bored and always loving company, he started to follow her. Moving parallel to her, he watched her move and wondered what she was doing. When she spoke, he grinned. Lost. That meant she had somewhere she needed to be. He wondered what such a snowy-white lioness would be going all by herself.
"If you're lost, maybe I can help?" He was by no means a master of direction, but it was a nice icebreaker to offer his assistance.
