Solid strokes, back and forth, back and forth, the bristles of a brush met with a rock that stood out in the center of a small clearing. The wind blew through the grass and through her hair as she continued the motions, her artwork becoming more and more complete. Pausing she stepped back, the sunlight hit it just right, fully showing the beauty of the design. Painted in bright colours on the rock was the mountains that sat visible in the far distance, visible from the clearing. "Hm.. There is something missing!" She huffed as she stared at her work. To an artist, a piece is never just right.

Lightning bolts, shooting into the sky, with not a cloud in sight. His eyes flickered from left to right. He quickly made his way towards the clearing, simply trotting, not running, not walking. Hearing a small, gentle voice, his pulse started racing. "Another.. Person." Just wonderful. He didn't want to listen to anyone else talk. But alas, he walked towards the voice. If only there was a storm today.

Mini huffed again giving her mane a rough shake out, "No no! No matter what I do.." She stared at the rock for a few moments longer before going to back to work and effortlessly moved the brush around the rock adding more details here and there, flushing out small things and added even more life to what would have started as a small doodle. Stepping back she was about to take another moment to star at her work when here ears flicked to the sound of footsteps nearby. "Hm?" Mini's head tilted to the side as she spun around quickly to try to see who it was. Of course that wouldn't be hard if they were in the clearing with her.

He stiffened as she turned around, and he snorted. The girl was doing art. Of all things she could have been doing. He looked at it, as the sun hit it again. It was good though. "It.. It looks pretty good." He mumbled. His eyes flickered from her, to it. She looked like an art piece herself.
"What.. is up with your.. legs?" He asked. They were all.. sketchy. It looked kind of neat.

She looked at him then looked back at the rock frowning a bit, "I looks like something is missing to me and I can't for the life of me figure out what it is!" She shook her head at the piece of art and turned her attention back to the stallion. She ticked her paintbrush into the scarf around her neck so she could speak without holding it.
"My legs?" She stretched one out, the sketchy look seemed to change and alter itself to match the new position of her leg. Putting it back down the sketches continued to flicker and change, "I'm really not too sure. My father is like that as well."

He snorted. "You're a piece of art, yourself, if you ask me." Her father was like that as well? How odd. "And your father too." Her shrugged, trying to change the the subject. "I'm.. Storm Warning. And you? Tell me your name isn't as artistic as you're appearance." He said, giving a slight snort, chuckling silently.
"It's not missing anything." Storm said, giving his insight into it. "A painting just never looks correct in the eyes of it's creator. It looks nice." A few nice things in a day. That was weird for him to say.

She'd never considered herself very different from others, even if her legs ere always something that others pointed out. She chuckled at the comment about herself and through out a quick comment about her father, "Oh yes, father is a very unique stallion, he's far more a work of art than I will ever be." Her ears perked up to the change of subject and she smiled, "My name is Mini Muse. You're more than welcome to simply call me Mini though. I'd say simply Muse as well but that is my mother's nickname." Her tail gave a small wiggle as she spoke. It wasn't often she had company aside from her family. "It's a pleasure to meet you Storm Warning."
The comment about the artwork had her turning to look back at it, her attention turning back to Storm a moment later, "Nothing is missing.." Her eyes went back to it again, studying it hard trying to look at it from the eyes of another rather than the eyes of it's creator. A look on her face went from frustration to realization, "Nothing is missing!"
