The moonlight made the white parts of her fur almost seem to glow with a ghostly silvery light, but any sense of mystery about the small mostly white moonlit dog was quickly erased by the frantically gleeful wagging of her splotchy-tipped tail as she bounded back and forth in an attempt to pin a falling leaf. Her paws, were a bit clumsy, and she'd not succeeded in catching a single one by the time the wind had passed, but she still sprawled on her belly, giggling happily to herself as she placed one forepaw on a leaf that lay on the ground.

"Gotcha!" Lika, more commonly known as Gigglepaws, announced to no one in particular. Patting the leaf a few times, and staring in intrigued amusement at it when it stuck to her paw pad, the youngling glanced around. Twilight was quiet tonight, daddy had gone to work by the time she'd woken up and her sister Goldentoed, with whom she spent most of her time, was still sleeping. So what should she do next?

The wagging tail caught her attention, and with a gleeful little bark she was on her feet, spinning in a circle as though her tailtip were prey she sought to catch...but this was dizzying. Giggles staggered sideways as the world spun, before tripping over herself, or maybe a stick or something, and flopping on her back. Paws folded, she stared up at the whirling treetops and sky, uttering a breathless "Woaaaah..." as the world danced around her. Now this was fun. She hoped Golden woke up soon so she could show her this new game.

As was to be expected the pack was usually at it's happiest when there was the promise of new lives and the laughter and general energy of young pups abounding. She wasn't very heavy yet, but she had begun to show around the middle. Sensing another large brood she decided not to move around a great deal, which in and of itself was frustrating to the female used to hunting with her pack, playing with her pack, doing everything with her pack.

It was very difficult to stay frustrated though, when she watched the young pup in front of her having so much fun just playing alone. To think that she and Risktaker would get to experience that again with not just the pups of the pack, but a new litter of their own recognition again.

"Who did you get, Gigglepaws?" The expecting mother inquired, settling at the base of a tree quietly to rest a bit.

Gigglepaws rolled over with a little bit of effort considering how the whole world spun right now. Her blue eyes blinked the figure into focus, tail wagging even before her head had cleared enough to recognize the shape over there as Wisdomchaser.

"The leaf!" she grinned, waving the paw it had stuck to in demonstration before trying to find her feet. They seemed to be having trouble at the moment, some bits were still spinning from when she'd chased her tail too long, and she wobbled and wavered and stumbled drunkenly back and forth once she had righted herself. Shaking her head to clear it more, she frowned when she looked at her older packmate.

"Uhm...did you get bigger?" the young dog asked in confusion. She'd thought only pups got bigger, and that they stopped growing when they were all grown up.
