Do guys ever say that to you? Like, I told someone once that I tripped down the stairs or soemthing....and he responded 'that's cute.' .... UGHH. It's the phrase that always ticks me off! I mean, it's not demeaning, but if someoen tells me that it feels like it is, and I react like it is. It's just been a real pet peeve of mine since a particularly annoying and persistent guy started saying it.
So...am I just really over reacting here? It really bugs me, because I don't like to feel like I'm just something to look at and observe! Idk....am I being a little unreasonable here, or does anyone share the feeling??

[~+~] Hmm. It depends really. If my boyfriend ever says that, i know he doesn't mean it in a demeaning way, especially since it's rare for him to say something like that. xD;
But i can imagine if a guy was to say it in the wrong way it would come across as demeaning.
I find certain pet names far worse in all honesty. ;>_>
