 The grass was fun to play in. Running about bounding here and there, It made her happy even if she was just chasing her own fluffy tail. Giggling ever more, she leaped into the air, tumbled and rolled around in the grass laughing even more. She enjoyed having fun, getting her blood pumping. It certainly was a better thing to be free than to be stuck in the basket still. Yes, she couldn't deny that freedom was better.

Emille was glad that she was finally out of that dark basket, but now, she had another problem. She was somewhat afraid and intimidated by everything. She didn't mind meeting people, but she spoke little and even when she did, it was in a barely audible tone. Even with her parents and sister, she would speak softly.
Her tanned coat glimmered as she walked in the grass, feeling the wind in her face. She sighed a breath of relief. "This world is quite nice," she thought happily. Emille galloped excitedly and stopped when she saw here sister.
"Hi sis," she said quietly. "What are you up to today?" She went up to Mera and nuzzled her neck with affection.

"Playing!" Giggling she bounced around for a moment before trotting back to Emille and nuzzling her in return. "Doesn't it feel great to be free from the basket?" Nibbling on her sibling's mane, she gave it a small tug. "You wanna play?" She darted off and turned around looking at her, her rear-end wiggling slightly in her hyperactive playful sort of way. Grinning, a glint to mach her body language shone in her eyes.

Emille was happy with the return nuzzle and shook her head at her sister. It was nice finally being out of the basket, being able to bask in the sun and feel the breeze instead of being stuck in the dark. She shivered a little bit thinking about being in the dark. "I don't think I'm going to like the dark much..."
She bounded towards her sister as Mera ran off. "What are we going to do today?" Emille cocked her head to the side asking while trying to keep up with her sister. The cool grass felt nice on her hooves, not hot at all, but cool with a little bit of moisture still left from the early morning.
As they kept running, they started getting closer to the edge of a forest. It looked... Quite dark... Quite scary... To Emille anyways. "S-sis... We're not going into there, are we?"

Eying the darkened forest, she looked over to Emille and shook her head remembering something her father had say once. "No.. I think it's best if we stay out in the open where the grownups can easily find us." Grinning she zipped up close to her sister and lightly poked her in the side some, snuffling and nibbling a bit in an attempt to tickle her. "Hmm... you taste.. dusty!" Giggling she fell over in the grass and rolled around just giggling even more.
A soft breeze washed over them for a moment sending grass rolling about them as she stood up and looked around. Where were their parents after all? She looked around and gave an inward shrug before tapping her sister lightly on the side with her nose and darting off with more giggles. "Tag! you're it!" she was off racing through the grass.

With her sister's attempt to tickle her, Emille relaxed a bit about the forest. After Mera tagged her and ran off, she also knew she had to get her back!
She watched her sister dart back and forth. Once she saw somewhat of a pattern to how her sister was moving, Emille dash as quick as she can and ran into her sister. "Oops..." Her voice was really quiet. "Sorry sis!"
But then, she noticed that it was her turn to get back at her sister and started rubbing her muzzle against her sister's belly. "My turn!" Emille tickled her sister until she ended up in giggles.

Giggling she flopped over onto her side and wiggled about until she could catch her breath. Once she had her breath though, she was rolling to her hooves in one swift movement and wiggling her fluffy little tail about with a rather impish grin. Lightly nibbling and wiggling her upper lip, she attempted to tickle her right back. it would be a tickle off to meet the best if she could help it even though she was still giggling from the fun of everything.
"Tickle tickle" She giggled our as she even attempted to wiggle her little tail in her sister's face, though it fell short due to lack of length. Sure she was a rough and tumbler but she wouldn't out right purposely hurt her sister.

Even though her sister's tail barely managed to tickle her, Emille let out a sneeze. With an idea in her head, Emille smiled and spoke to her sister. "I think I'm allergic to you."
She giggled and move a little bit away from Mera. "Mera's got cooties!"
While she was taunting her sister, Emille ran off again, waiting for her sister to catch up with her, wondering what would happen next. As she ran, she felt the air in her face and the soft grass around her hooves and kind of lost herself as she galloped around.

"Coodies, huh?" Grinning wide and even more deviously, she chased after Emille. "I'm gonna get you all cootie infected!" Giggling she skidded to a halt so she's just stop short enough to keep from knocking her sister over yet could tap her with her nose in the belly before lawling her tongue out and giving her back a rather slobbery lick and running away with a fit of more giggles. "Now Emille has cooties too!" She chided her sister as she trotted around in a wide circle through the grass.

Emille knew that her sister didn't have cooties; even if she did, the both of them probably would have the same ones anyways. At least, that is what she thought.
When Mera caught up to Emille, she giggled out loud, enjoying time spent with her sister. She tossed around in the soft grass for a little while. Emille had been laughing for so long that her belly started to hurt, and she had to calm down no matter how much fun she was having.
She looked up at Mera with a smile and curious eyes. "What else do you want to do today, sis?"

"Hmm.." She thought for a moment before giving a small shrug. "I dunno.. Though the forest is something we wanna stay out of." She gave a nod. "Daddy told me to watch for cougars when out here any ways. He says they smell of dirt, fur, and blood..." Her upper lip came up to show the dislike of the combination of a smell.
"I know! We could play.. um.... Follow the leader!" She giggled, tail flicking about and wiggling in anticipation of the game.

Emille smiled and got behind her sister, wagging her hind quarters in excitement. She was hoping that her sister was going to make it a little challenging for one of them.
"We're ago," she exclaimed. "Where are we off to?"

"Just follow me and see!" Grinning wide, she trotted off in more a prance than a trot. Her steps were high and proud much like a Tennessee walking horse's steps usually are. She turned a few times and gave a hop imitating a bull frog. Stopping, she looked back to see if her sister was able to everything so far. She liked playing games and having fun. mostly it was the fact that she got to spend time with her family.
