 In which students spend three mealtimes each day, as well as an open invitation for snacks and socializing in between. It is no longer a rarity for students to deviate from their assigned House table; in fact, tables are usually a mix of students unless an event is scheduled.

*Glances across the churning collection of students through the soft afternoon light drifting from the bewitched ceiling, seeing not one of his favored classmates; considers his predicament for several moments before opting for the Hufflepuff table - friendly bunch of blokes, really*
Hiiiiiii. *Bounces down onto a bench, dropping his bag on the floor*

*Shoves potatoes and tiny sandwiches and salad and vegetables and cut fruit into his mouth with both hands, like a rabid starving hobo*
*Almost always eats like this at least once a day, since studying makes him ravenous*

Eleanore sat at the end of the Hufflepuff table eating a mix of fruits, veggies, and meatless sandwiches- technically she was a Ravenclaw, but it had always been her dream to be a Hufflepuff, so she often ate meals there. Hufflepuffs also tended to know the best and juiciest gossip, and never seemed to mind her quiet, unobtrusive presence.

"Hi Dwake. How'fit gowan?" Godfrey said, around a rather large turkey leg. After a moment Godfrey finished chewing and swallowed, grinning at the blonde bombshell. "You want some you'd better get it before I eat it all. S'why people don't tend to sit around me."
Actually he'd already consumed two plates of food, and the elves were rather quick- a new plate of potatoes suddenly appeared on the table, and the gravy started to refresh itself. There was plenty to go around but Godfrey had bitten people once or twice in the past when their arms got in the way. Thankfully Drake was across from him and mostly out of the range of his mouth.
He glanced down at Hugo for a moment, and gave him a short wave before snagging another bread roll from the pile. Mmm, fresh and warm.

Josh surveyed the Hall before going in; he spotted Godfrey right away. Those ears were hard to miss. Too many people for a sneak attack though. Bummer. Direct approach then.
He ran into the hall, chains on his pants jangling to signify his approach, jumping on Godfrey's back and clinging there, almost pulling him down off the bench altogether. "'FREYBUTT."

Adela paused in her approach to the Hufflepuff table, putting her hands on her hips and sporting a very Gilderoy-like pout. SHE had been planning to sneak up on her brother but that 'hawked bohemian of a boyfriend of his had ruined her plans.
"Well, then." She said to herself, hmmphing before sitting down next to her much SHORTER brother without a word. Really, she made all the effort to come over here and everything.

"GRKT!" Godfrey choked, half of the bun already shoved in his mouth. He chewed furiously as he was dragged backwards- what the hell Josh's knees had to be hitting the floor already! The food scratched his throat a little going down dry but it was no big deal now that Josh was around.
"Gah! Josh!" Godfrey giggled, tipping his head back so he could kiss Josh's chin. "Morning, joshywoshykinsypooooo."
He dragged out the sickeningly sweet name as long as possible before he felt like vomiting up everything he'd eaten, and grinned afterwords for having managed to keep his food down.
"Oh, hey Adela!" He said, once he'd seen his sister. He was still basically half out of his seat on the bench and gave her his best grin anyways.

Adela rolled her eyes at he brother. "You don't even know what time it is, do you? Tut."
Silly Godfrey was always forgetting the time. Spent far too much studying, in her opinion. Why, she had just as much trouble but got along swimmingly- to use a bad pun!
She took the opportunity of her brother being otherwise occupied to reach over his plate and grab a raspberry tart from the tray that appeared next to the potatoes. Perhaps the elves just liked the Hufflepuffs more because the raspberry tarts at the Slytherin table always seemed to be quickly eaten and slowly replenished.
Adela nibbled it daintily, savoring the taste since she didn't eat dessert all that often- had to keep her figure, after all.
"Good afternoon." She said to Drake, but said it with a sigh, not truly trying to be snide.
