The brown filly trotted through the woods late at night with the cold air sweeping part her. She was her usual angry self. She hadn’t had a good meal in a long time or killed a rabbit in awhile. She needed more trophies for herself, but wondered if she should try something a little harder to tackle. Maybe a baby deer? She wanted to have her name out there as the most fearsome filly in the land. A title which she wanted with everything in her. “Hmph my brother’s won’t be as great as me. Once I get my title I will rule the land.” She snorted with high prestige as she thought on it.
She was being her usual pompous self and she didn't care. If someone didn't like her then it was their problem not hers. Nothing could change her. Stopping her train of though immediately, she noticed some fireflies lighting up the field. Grinning widely, she darted for them and bounced around trying to catch some in her mouth. She wasn't going to eat them of course, but she learned that they made her teeth look like they were glowing if she smiled. Occasionally she had these fits of being an actual child instead of an adult. She didn't know where this side of her came from, but she didn't like it. Being the good kind of playful was so out of character for her. She just hoped no one was going to see her in this state. If they did then...good luck to that poor creature.
