✗ [Oba];× × × × × × × × × × × × × × × × Though her moral compass might be in question, the governess allows the Colosseum to continue because of the revenue it brings the state. Situated on the highest incline in the district, and all of Babylon this monolith can seat hundreds of hounds at once. In the middle, with the seats surrounding it, lies the arena stage where cats are forced to compete.
Upon entering you hear the sound of something being dragged across the ground along with the muttering of something low and guttural. "What's this nooow," the croc says, slowly slinking up and giving you a toothy grin, full of razor sharp teeth. As he speaks you catch the stench of an undigested dead thing. "Come to see the shooow? Gotta get yer ticket ready. Those who can't pay..." his grin widens even further, "Get eaten."✗ [Two cats enter...];× × × × × × × × × × × × × × × × The Colosseum happens once every couple of weeks, possibly months (whenever staff has time to run a game) and are very beneficial to both hounds and slaves. When a event takes place a notice will be made in this thread indicating what type of tournament is being held (they range from a type of battle tourney, to mere long distance races), the rules, and what the stat bonus is.
All cats may roll 1 - 5 just for entering the tournament! (Hound masters must be the ones to force a cat to enter!) Additionally, if a cat wins a tournament, he may win no entry boost, but he may roll 5-15. A hound of a winning cat may roll the same.
A hound may enter up to three of their own cats provided that the player's are all different. If you own two or more cats (and different hounds have entered them) then you may earn entry boosts for all cats entered, however, only one of your cats may earn a winner's boost, even if you are lucky enough to have more then one win!
The entry fee for each kitty is 50 stones! Occasionally a prize pouch (of stones) will be awarded to a winner(s)

ANIMAL ATTACK TOURNAMENT Price: 50s per kitty Prize Pouch: None Stat Bonus: Strength Kitty HP: 25
Time to enter your kitties: Now until Friday 8 - 7 PM est -- At that time the tournament will commence! A hound may NOT godmode a kitty, so if you were entered you will need to roleplay your kitty as the tournament progresses. If a post is not made in an hour and it's your kitties turn, we will assume the kitty has run off to the sidelines, behind the blockade, in fear. (in other words it will be DQ'd)
How it works: At this time you may enter your kitty(ies) into the tournament. It is as simple as *your hound's name is entering his/her slave, *kitty's name*.
When the allotted time passes then each kitty will make a post "attacking" the rhino (at the mule's 'Go' of course), the rhino will then attack back. At times he may attack each one individually or he may make a move in which all cats are affected. The tournament ends when the rhino has been defeated (he loses all his HP).
Whichever kitties are still left conscious (with at least 1 HP) wil be declared the winner. The losing kitties will roll their stat bonus first, and then the winner. The hound whose kitty has won will also be allowed to roll.

Akil was… well, scared. A little excited too, perhaps, but mostly just terrified. Four cats against such a huge beast? The brown and white slave didn’t feel all that confident really. But Haqikah had entered him in the contest and he wouldn’t dare to do anything that could reflect poorly on his mistress. Akil raised his head proudly looking at the spectators as if he’d been though this a hundred times before. He needed to be strong enough to protect her at least until Haqikah bough a stronger slave so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get some fighting experience – of course, Akil was sure the mistress would be pretty happy if he actually won some stones for her as well but that was far beyond his wildest expectations.
The cat crouched tensely, shoulders moving back and forth and orange eyes narrowing intensely as he circled the large creature in front of him. He glanced at the other slaves and after a brief hesitation, Akil decided to make the first move and attack from behind.

Shornic glanced around at the spectators filling the stadium, a little nervous at their sheer numbers, for just four kitties versus a Rhino of this beast's size. It was only the sheer number of hounds that made him nervous, though. He felt better when he let even Mambe's presence slip from his mind, so all he was focused on was the fight. It had been a pleasant surprise when he'd found he'd be entering the tournament for his new master; fighting was one of a small count of ways this strange monochromatic feline let off steam. He stalked around the beast much in the same way Akil did, going instead for some of the unwrinkled flesh on a leg, as he did.

Ruhane you have 24 hours to reroll before you are DQ'd. You did it incorrectly.
The other kitties have 24 hours to make their move!

Shemesgisa was absolutely mortified.
What the hell was Anpu thinking? Not that she would dare ask him that, because she would always do what she was told... But seriously!? She had a hard time thinking Chione was fine with him entering the felines to fight a friggin' RHINO. Then again, maybe she was at fault for not putting up more of a fuss when he mentioned the arena. She, at first, thought that she might be fighting another cat. Not something she was comfortable with, but she could see that being feasible.
She didn't even begin to think that she and those three other cats would have to fight something so much larger (and deadlier) than themselves and she was quaking in her fur when the angry animal was released into the arena.
Well... Here goes nothing!

Cheshire was amused, a rhino was after all a challenge! He found Anpu and his lovely Chione a fun and amusing couple as well. If he hadn't he probably would have slipped away by now. He turned his grin and gaze back onto the large beast and tipped his head. Hmm leathery skin, dangerous horn, very large, and deadly stomping feet. With that quick assessment completed he swayed his way around the large beast.
For a moment it was as if he vanished but quickly enough he reappeared behind the rhino. He leapt up with outstretched claws and swiped to try and attack the beast from behind. Live or die he'd at least have some fun!

HP:23
Chesh was nearly thrown in the air but gracefully the feline managed a roll and only a soft hiss as the massive foe barely touched him. He staggered for a mment as if on drunken paws before grinning. Perhaps the most damage would not be at the flank of the beast. He narrowed his eyes on the massive horn, it was a challenge, but anything worth doing was wasn't it?
He prowled in a slow graceful, very careful, semi circle before unceremoniously launching himself at the rhino's face. Some would call it an act of bravery, or desperation, or foolishness, but it was quite simply an act of madness.

Wow, that had been an utter failure… the skin was harder than Akil expected and his first attack didn’t even leave a mark. So much for leaving a good impression. He couldn’t afford to hesitate though – the rhino’s sudden hit was proof enough of that. Ouch… that really hurt.
The dark cat had managed to land a good blow so Akil decided that he could do one of two things: he could either try to mimic the slave with the blue stripes or he could try to distract the beast long enough for the others to attack from behind again. Without much thought, Akil slid towards the head of the rhino and aimed a claw-filled paw to one of the animal’s eyes, muscles already tensing to make a quick escape.
