it sort of disappoints me how people complain how "gaga changed" and how "she was better in 2008" "she looked cuter" "she sucks now" etc....
first of all, how is change EVER supposed to be a bad thing? lady gaga may have changed, and this may sound contradicting, but she is still herself. i dont think anyone EVER changes 100%, for he/she will always have a bit of their own personality/truth behind them.
as in gaga's case, i do see a bit of change in appearance/ style... but arent we ALL SUPPOSED to change appearances as we get older or start getting inspired by other styles? and she has even said that she had planned her music to go from "fame" to something more "deeper" , though most her music did have deph in them....
and for those fans who "wish she was the gaga she used to be", well...

she still has time to go back to her old gay western barn she used to perform at when she was unfamous....
i think this shows how much gaga is STILL gaga. she's STILL the sweet, caring, and down to earth.
she knows where she had come from
and she remembers her days when she wasnt famous.
she respects her past and doesnt seem to have gotten carried away with the media.

Let's have some fun! This beat is sick!
I honestly don't think she has changed, she just has been able to express herself more. I think that at the start of her career she acted like what everyone wanted her to be just to get a fanbase. Once she had some loyal fans, she was able to push limits and act like herself. If she had done a music video like Alejandro at the start of her career, she most likely would not have been successful. She needed to catch everyone's attention before pulling off something like that.

She's only changed her public image and how she conveys her creative persona to the masses (majority of sex, non stop crazy outfits), but I don't think her core personality hasn't changed. She's still the kind and caring Gaga from before.
I guess people want more of the Telephone attitude or the Love Game attitude, or the Kermit the Frog attitude.

She said, in one of her interviews, that the biggest contradiction they have with her is that mane believe she is not who she used to be and she's still who she used to be.. I agree with all of you that she has changed her style telling by her hair, clothes, and music videos now these days.. 3nodding

I don't think she changed but I do think she is much more serious now a days. She is more artsy and I sometimes wish she could be more candid and fun instead of so serious all of the time. I miss smiley Gaga like in the Eh Eh video.  ]

Hippocrite I don't think she changed but I do think she is much more serious now a days. She is more artsy and I sometimes wish she could be more candid and fun instead of so serious all of the time. Me three.. 3nodding Well The Fame Monster had a much deeper meaning to it's songs and she got more serious with it.. Maybe she'll change again for her new album.. What I miss A LOT is the hair-bow.. heart

I think you can really actually chart the changes. I think the first was inbetween the cancellation of the Fame Kills Tour and the release of The Fame Monster. Then I think I think the current transformation is happening again. If you noticed, she did change her look a lot in Alejandro. Not to mention, she didn't notice she didn't do most of her hand signs ( okay, peace around the eyes ).
I hope she does go back to cutesy and smiley for a small bit. Sometimes, you need to be happy for no actual reason, ya know?

ME FOUR! artsy gaga is incredible. cutsey gaga was adorable. especially in interviews. she still is suchh a sweetheart. especially to her fans. she loves us just the same...

Many prefer Gaga when she did The Fame and I hear people saying that she got worse when she released The Fame Monster..
I find that really stupid but true.. If Gaga did end up worse how come she has been more successful than she was when she produced The Fame?.. And well I do prefer the old Gaga as in her personality because she fooled around more and all that.. Well to be honest can't she be serious like she is these days but still be happy and funny like she was before?.. confused
Also I find this change weird because I've read that when she produced The Fame many of her songs were written after her heart-break with her boyfriend, which after all the cruel stuff her said to her [I'm not certain if all of you have heard of what he said though] she seemed happier in The Fame and in The Fame Monster she looks or sounds like more tired and put more feelings into that album.. She said The Fame Monster was inspired to her because when she had The Fame Ball that she kept seeing these monstrous fans and all that kind of stuff..
Thinking more about these two albums I feel like they should have been switched around when you think about how she has changed in style and personality..
