Kinda old pictures from Anime Expo which was held 4th of July weekend. OH MAN IT WAS HUGE. Not as huge as Comic Con, but still pretty big with ample stuff to do. Like I had a friend looking for me all day and even w/ the map he said he fould WALDO before he could find me lol. It was kind of stressful having to take a shuttle back and fourth between the hotel and convention center. I think I like Fanime more, but it was still by and large a cool experience.

I think one thing you'd need to do would be to line your eyes with eyeliner and put on some blush and lipstick because your face looked a little bland.

I disagree with necca, you look hot as ******** and as natural as Katar does.

Do you make all your costumes? Ever use them more than once? How much do you spend per costume? How many do you have? How often do you do these events?

@ Sonnen: Aww, ty. I think adding make up would of made it look a little ganguro to be honest. Do not want. Also didn't want to eff with the paint already there lol.

Not all. I bought my firsts online, but they were very expensive and also had a couple of defects. Anytime you trust an ebay seller from China it's RISKY BUSINESS. Because they would not fit right, be inaccurate or crappy I would modify things little by little and eventually I learned enough to pretty much make due on my own now. I went from wow this is bad let me safety pin it --okay this time I will just sew it --okay this time I will just replace it --okay this time I will just do it from scratch. Buying one online would be ~$100, but you could buy the same amount of fabric to make it for literally 1/3rd of the cost. You have to spend a good amount of time on it if you make it though because if you don't the end result might turn out fail.

Ever use them more than once? There are people who make specific costume events just so they have an excuse to wear their stuff outside of cons. They can be anything from the standard photoshoot and photography fun fest or HEY WANNA COME PLAY DODGEBALL ON THE FIRST SAT IN AUGUST? IMA DRESS AS TITUS. LOL SURE I'LL COME AS TIFA. But you know wearing something event appropriate and in a group so it looks like you are not the only crazy one.
Although I admit I will probably never do some like Zoey from Left 4 Dead again because the jacket just sucks and looks horrible.

How often do you do these events?
Something like 3-6 a year.
There are low key local ones in Sacramento or San Fransisco are small but it's still fun to hang out with old friends I haven't seen in a while there.
Bigger ones like Fanime, Anime Expo or Comic Con will cost over $100 and be far away so I have to decide if it is worth it to go or not and set a schedule.
