 The bright, spotted male trotted briskly through the lands, blissfully unaware that he was intruding upon claimed ground. Not that he would particularly care either way. He was going to make his own path, regardless of what anyone had to say about it. Even if that meant high-tailing it and leaving them in the dust. He wasn't one to back down from a fight, but he wasn't stupid. If he was outnumbered too greatly, he wasn't about to let himself get killed.
He held his head high as he went, paying no particular mind to his surroundings. He wasn't sure where he was going, but one thing was certain, he was going to get there.

 Gaida was out on patrol, she was committed to make sure that no one was going to invade her home not on her watch. Gaida was a little on the irratated side today, she felt that her guards and her hunters just weren't up to snuff. She kicked a rock as she walked around the edges of her home.
As the pale green and white cheetah walked around she thought of the cubs that she had. It was hard for the cheetah to deal with the fact that her cubs had been sired by such a weakling, someone who was barely woth his time. All of a sudden bright colors caught the cheetah's attention she spun around her ears pinned back against her head. There was an intruder!
She galloped full speed at the intruder, her paws barely made any noise as she moved, she had no intentions of slowing before she made it to the male. Getting close she lept into the air with the intention to pounce on top of him.

Asgeir flicked one ear, picking up on the tiny pitter patter of her feet as the other cheetah approached. Unfortunately for him, by the time he heard her it was too late, and no sooner had he turned to face her than he was on the ground beneath her.
"Hey! What is your problem?" He snarled, slightly winded from the impact but trying his best not to show it. How dare this random female attack him out of nowhere?!
"You'll want to get off of me right now, little missy." His tail lashed behind him, stirring up a small cloud of dust. He was going to give her one chance to get off of him before he made her get off himself. He wasn't going to take this from anyone, even if they were a girl. Nobody treated Asgeir in this way... Nobody.

Gaida barely managed to swallow a gaint laugh, instead it came out as a bare snicker. "You my dear are in no posistion to be bossing me around." she sneered. She had her teath barred and deep angry look on her face. "You are on private property, claimed land, MY LAND, lands that I GAURD." The pale cheetah got louder and lourder as she spoke.
She didn't back her grip on him off at all instead she pushed down harder on his shoulders. "What is your name, what is your business here?" she demanded of him.

"Your land?" He smirked, "You guard it? Just you? And what right do you have to claim these lands as your own, miss?" He flattened his ears against his skull, a snarl on his face to match her voice. He did not raise his, he was above that.
He grunted as she pushed down on his shoulders, twisting his body quickly in a futile attempt to escape her grip, but she was stronger than she looked. Best to just answer her questions for the moment and wait for the right moment to strike.
"My name is Asgier, I am merely passing through." He growled, "Now if you would be so kind as to get off of me, I won't have to hurt you."

"You foolish male, it isn't soley my land nor am I the sole gaurd here." she couldn't believe that this creature was so stupid. "You happen to be on lands that belong to Legio. I am the leader of the guards and hunters here and if you don't watch yourself I will not have a problem calling upon them to tear you to peices."
Feeling that she had made her point quite clear Giada took a step to the side allowing her capture to raise to his feet. If it had honestly been a mistake perhaps she could cut him some slack, after all he was a handsom creature. And well Giada was known for falling having a small interest in the brightly colored sort. Kabaa was proff enough of that this male before her could not be more dumb then him or more pathetic.

Asgeir rolled his eyes at the female, trying his best to act nonchalant and not show his growing irritation. "Legio, eh?" He thought about it for a minute, "Never heard of it." But what did she say? She was the leader of something? Now that he could respect. "Don't get your fur in a mess, little lady." He laughed, "I'm not here to hurt anyone. Or pounce on unsuspecting passersby." He added scathingly.
Asgeir stood up and shook the dust off of his fur, "Now then, I've told your my name, it's only fitting that you tell me yours." He sat down watched her intently, trying to decide if he found her attitude very attractive or rather off-putting. "Unless you only got off of me so that you could chase me off of your land."

Gaida huffed, "I did not just get off you to chase you out, I haven't decided what I will do with you yet." she snarled. Gaida wasn't sure what she thought about this brightly colored cheetah but perhaps she could use him to her benifit. "I am wondering if perhaps I should capture you and keep you here." she told him a cruel smile on her face.
"After all our pride does neeed some more gaurds and hunters." she told him a twinkle in her eye. "I could keep you as my slave, my personal assistant." she said getting more energetic and happy as she spoke. Her pride was not one to keep slaves but she was excited about the idea of keeping him here, he was a strong male by the looks of thing, and perhaps he could be a good sire when it came time for her to have more cubs, she did after all want to have some decent offspring, and he ones with Kabaa could hardly be considered stong cubs.

"What you will do with me?" He scoffed, "I don't think you have much of a choice. Now that I'm up, I could easily escape." He wasn't really that fast for a cheetah, and she could easily catch him, but he was a great fighter. Not that he'd ever run from a fight, but this female didn't know that. She probably would before long, though.
"Who says I want to join your pride, little miss?" He snorted, "And you would certainly not have me as your slave. Assistant, perhaps, but only if I'm feeling generous." He flashed her a sly grin. Maybe this could be a fun game. After all, if he was the assistant to the pride's leader, then he'd have power too. This could be interesting.
"So let's say that I do agree to stay here. What do I get out of it? I'm not staying unless it's worth my while, missy."

((just a note, Gaida isn't the leader of the whole pride just the one house in the pride.))
Gaida snarked. "You are in the pride that I protect. All the hunters and soldiers are under my comand. I am also one of the fastest Cheetah's around her." she said a lot of pride in her voice. Gaida continued to look the male cheetah over. He was bright in color so perhaps he wouldn't make the best hunter, the prey would see him coming, but he was well built perhaps she could make a warrior out of him.
"Besides what would you have against being my slave, you would have a kept life. My slave would be above many in my house. You would be treated well enough." Gaida left out that she had a temper issue at the best of times, that information wasn't important at this point of time. "A life in a pride is a ton better then being a rouge!" she annouced, "I have lived both lives."
"Give me one good reason why you wouldn't want to stay here." she challenged him.

"Well aren't you all high and mighty, miss." He laughed, "Speed is alright, but I much prefer muscle." Probably not the best thing for a cheetah, but nobody said that Asgeir was the brightest creature.
"What do I have against it? I'll tell you, it's that I don't submit to anyone, end of story." He shook his head, "I might agree to be a... Consort, perhaps, but never a slave." Was the title really so important? Perhaps not to most, but to Asgeir it was the world. If he was known as a slave he'd be looked down upon, but as a consort to a leader... That was a good title right there.
"I'm doing fine on my own." He lied. "I don't need any help from you." He snorted, "But I might consider staying here if you think you have anything to offer me. Like I said, I could agree to being given some high standing in this pride of yours."

Gaida was bothered by the way the male spoke so demanding, who was he to demand anything she could have ripped him apart only moments ago but instead she had given into him, let him up, given him a chance to speak. She shook her head, he may be irritating her somewhat but she did need a mate, and he was as good as any, certantly better then anyone who was currently inhabitating the pride.
"Ok then, I suppose I do have something to offer you. I am with out a mate. I have had a litter of cubs and I am utterly dissappointed with them, I need someone who can give me strong cubs, cubs that are worth calling me mother. The cubs that I had I have had no part in raising and I have no interest in them." She paused to gage his interested.
"You would hold the title of Cuius. The mate of the head of the house always holds that title. You wouldn't have he work that the rest of my house does. You are like my informant, but when it comes down to it I am in charge, always in charge!." she growled the last part.

Well, now this was an intriguing idea. "A mate, you say?" He tried not to sound too terribly interested, but he wasn't doing a very good job of it. "And what exactly makes you think that I'd want to mate with you? After all, you did attack me before." He shrugged, "But then again, you certainly do have spirit." He smirked. Perhaps this would turn out even better than he had hoped.
"Fine, fine, you're in charge." He laughed, as if he barely believed or cared that she'd be in charge or not. Just because she was the leader in theory didn't mean that he couldn't pull some strings, right?
"I'm in, then." He nodded, "I can promise you one thing, any cubs of mine will turn out a hundred times better than those you've had in the past." He said with a purr, "I'll make sure of it."

Giada ignored the males snide remarks, he would learn his place eventually for now she would let it slide, she didn't have the time. There was better things for him to learn anyhow. "Ok well you have made the right choice." she said nodding her head, if he had said anything other then yes, it was likely that she would have tired to harm him a great deal if he had said no.
"Well you have much to learn. I don't have time to do it now though I am due on guard." she said in a short voice, "I will take you to the den that is ours and leave you their... I will come back to teach you all you need to know soon enough." She was walking as she spoke.
Suddenly she came to a stop. "Here you are, go in stay put I will be back when I get back." Without really waiting for an answer she turned around and walked away.
